mourinho on the phone to rednapp......... 14:34 - Oct 31 with 1410 viewsQPR1882

Apparently he has run out of excuses why it was not his fault and he wants to know if Rednapp could help him out from his little book of its not my fault.

Since they can't outspend everyone anymore they're just an average Premier League team.

Magic.

Lucas should have been sent off. First goal scored in extra time that shouldn't have been awarded. Definitely not Mourinho's fault.

Those scumbag players who have hung managers out to dry before and are doing so again - captain leader legend in particular.

But when the players hung Mark Hughes out to dry it was the managers fault ?

Sorry Clive, but the buck stops with Jose.
All teams have good and bad luck.
Deserves all he gets - a 30 million pound pay off.

It's not what you've got; it's where you stick it.

It is always interesting that extra time is always a whole number of minutes. Maybe two minutes means between 2 and 2:59

I was being sarcastic in the first instance - just saying that's what he'll say, it's never his fault.

The thing about the players is right though.

Our players? Didn't notice any great improvement when Hughes went. Keep saying the manager isn't the problem at QPR. Chelsea players have, several times, completely stopped playing in order to get a manager the sack only to then suddenly improve when he does. Remember at the end of AVB's reign Terry was ruled out with injury for three months, SVB got the sack and he was suddenly fit to play after a fortnight in a cup match at Birmingham. Leader. legend.

a good manager should always shield their players in public from criticism both from within and from outside the club. any manager who publicly attacks a player is not a manager who can be trusted, and therefore players will lack respect for them.
a good manager should always praise the players when things go wrong, and take the blame when they don't.
the idea that it's always someone else's fault (linesman, referee, etc) is just bull.
you will have good days and bad days in the office, and the bigger teams will always get the benefit of the doubt. blaming everyone but yourself just shows what kind of a person he is when things go wrong. happy to see him, the club and abramovich under pressure for a change.

It's not what you've got; it's where you stick it.

In fairness, 3/4 of the 'legends' club that quit on AVB in Cole, Lampard & Drogba are gone, and if Jose had his way it would be Zouma & Stones at centre back.

If anything, watching Terry crumbling in public is as hilarious as Gerrard was.

The logical conclusion is that Captain Leader Racist should become their player manager. If he could arrange their relegation, he would be a legend in my eyes

Please make this happen

According to Duncan Castles, during his salary negotiations in 2007, Terry tried to get a clause inserted in his contract stating that he would automatically become manager at the end of his career:

'Terry is England's best-paid footballer after agreeing a five-year, £131,000-a-week contract this summer. In initial negotiations he had requested a 'limitless parity' clause to ensure he was the club's biggest earner for the duration of a proposed nine-year term. According to a Chelsea insider Terry also wanted - and was refused - a contractual option for him to manage the club at the end of his playing career.'

No surprise he wanted it!

Shame no one is doing a fly on the wall doc on what is happening behind the scenes down there at the moment. I am sure it would be as amusing as hell
