It was so obvious he was massively talented for years, I was baffled no one bought him off Palace years ago.
He's got that way of moving with the ball, almost a swagger that only the most skilful players have, every movement looking in control and strong while gliding past players.
Tarbs is probably the only other player we've had in my time that had that. |

Any idea why a lot of their season ticket holders don't show up? Doesn't happen at most clubs and I imagine most of them live in Blackburn so not exactly far to go. |

Yes football is very tedious these days, not just the matches themselves but everything else about it as well. A couple of Rangers games a year is my limit.
Don't care at all about England now, I don't know half the players and I didn't even bother watching them in the two euro finals.
Although I quite like the chaos of the Brazilian league, teams winning the title one year and then scrapping against relegation the next. [Post edited 26 Nov 11:09]

I was always confused at the start of a battle in Robot Wars when they said "roboteers stand by" as I thought the spinning machine at the start must have been called Robot Ears or something.

What's the Liberty Stadium like? I've only been to their old one.
It looks like one of the worst newish ones on the TV. Quite grotty and worse than Hull or Reading's. |

I think the stadium looks great personally including the chimneys.
Although that's the sort of thing that gets removed from the designs when they actually cost it all though eg. Man Utd's circus tent. |

I really hate these crappy handball penalties and other tiny infringements that chalk off perfectly good goals like Eze's freekick.
Referees have always been biased and petty, but VAR lets them do it on steroids these days.
I don't really like football in general now, it reminds me of rugby union where the referees determine games by which miniscule rules they decide to enforce or ignore each game. Boring old shte. |

You are kidding me. So there have literally been hundreds of free kick goals since then that have completely ignored this rule for it to suddenly be enforced for the benefit of those tossers. |
