I presume that it's just the same set of rules that a player from say Argentina would have to go through today? Albeit that mythical Italian grandparent is no longer helpful for English teams. Not sure, clubs like Chelsea have used Europe as a temporary storage facility for their 245 loans a year, I'd imagine that will stop being as appealing, maybe the bigger clubs will just change the way they operate. Watford are also going to struggle with shuttling players back and forth to Italy in the same way they do now |  | |  |
