I’m not sure Hermes are a courier company. I think it’s a front for what is effectively a large scale, thieving operation.
I presume they file for bankruptcy at some point, unable to pay the financial penalties to the companies who use them for failure to deliver.
I’ve heard so many stories specifically about Hermes that it has to be more than coincidence. The best was someone who said their packages arrive with a hole/tear in the top that looks like the delivery drives has punched it through. Often they said things were missing but they could never challenge the driver because he’d drop it at the front door, never knock, and run back to his van...even when they started stalking him out at the window! They kept calling the companies whose products they were buying but could never get through to anyone to take the issue seriously. |  | | |
