What a bloody day that was.

Getting on the tube at the Bush and it was rammed with Rangers. All drinking and smoking. Although there was a sour incident at Holborn where a young Asian chap got a ton of abuse and was pretty shook up.

The game was pretty much a blur but when the goal came it was mayhem on the North Bank. Those last eighteen minutes never seemed to end but the feeling at the final whistle was incredible. I’m not sure we’ll ever get that again.

Forty bloody years.
