He (David) was in the away end when we played at Walsall in the League Cup, late nineties? 0-0 draw. He was very friendly and spoke to my wife on the phone as she was a fan. He spent most of the brief conversation trying to convince her who he was as she wasn't having it

I swear Dave Bedford was a doorman at the Mad Hatter's club Luton in the 80s. Saw him a couple of times as lived in Dunstable at the time. Never knew he was an R.
