To see a bit of anger would be good. Inspires no confidence in me that he can turn this round.

NC is lost. Completely lost.

The squad has given up and he's telling us that we have to strategies running at once for defending corners.

Granted he cannot make provision for Seny treating the ball like a wet fish but bloody hell show us something.

Surely he cant be with us before Saturdays incoming massacre?

For any of you weird enough to be going up there I salute you!

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

The fans turn up knowing we'll get beaten
The players oblige, roll over and get beaten
The manager sounds beaten with no solutions
Clive's so beaten he's posting after games

Poll: Is time up for Ainsworth?

You can read more from his facial expressions than from his words.

He doesn’t appear to know how to turn this group around. It's not an ability issue with this group, it's an issue of application and appetite. So much harder to address than just working with players who aren't good enough.

This doesn't justify or explain everything but Tim and Tyler (I know he couldn't because he hit the 15-game mark) should have been sent back and replaced in January. Poor contract management that they are still here as we need players who are not only fit but capable of showing some courage.

How long has LFW existed? I don't ever recall a post game Parish Notice! It's the End Times, I tell you.

‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

THe players think he's an uninspiring idiot.

Says a lot about NC, says a lot about much of the squad.

Must have watched a different game we were not the better side at 0-0 they had presentable chances and looked more likely to score. First we had no shots on target they had 4. We never really looked like scoring the whole game lots of puff no end result. When Chair went to take the pen I had a feeling he would miss not based on anything.. even it had gone in I think we would have lost our defence is porous….

This is abysmal.

The economics of dismissal are pretty bad, but as the Club say, they are worse if we go down.

NC's contract will likely have provisions allowing him to be paid month by month post dismissal, with a reduction over time and an obligation to mitigate. Get rid.

Speak to someone who can manage teams on small budgets and motivate, someone like Wilder who is compensation free.

Sadly he inspires zero confidence in me and most everyone on this board.

No doubt he fails to inspire the players too.

He seems to be a man who is totally blinded by the task in front of him. His head moves up and his eyes are looking skywards , rather than looking at his Interviewer. If he's like that in the dressing room no wonder no one pays any notice.

I feel for him. The job asked of him is far greater than he thought and far greater than his abilities to deal with.

The players are the real problem but a tough ruthless manager would have sorted a good number out and have benched or shipped out others.

The club is in dire straights. Its dying. As posted before. The board need to ruthelssly purge the club top to bottom. Masnagement, staff, players.

But they can only do that of they know whatthe problems are and how to (attempt) to fix them. They do not have that ability so MUST commission a thorough review of the club by a team of experts who must recommend actions ot be taken. Without such independent help any action the board will take will most likely only make matters worse

As difficult as it is I and as much as the problems lie deeper than Critchley - it's quite clear he's not got the players with him, they have completely collapsed and no idea if anyone else can turn it round but I have huge doubts he is going to be able too......

I think he made errors in his first games which he cannot now rectify. Much the same as what happened with Nathan Jones at Southampton. I think both mis-read the nature of the players that they were dealing with and the methods that would bring them results.

Critchley - much like other managers - has put too much emphasis on possession and a slow measured approach, which opposition teams are finding it very easy to deal with.

The problem is that when you set out your stall and say that this is how it is going to be, and it doesn't work, then it's very difficult to change tact.

Because half of the players are going to question why things have changed and there is going to be inertia to change.

I think we are seeing this now with us struggling to let the slow measured approach go and players really not knowing how we can play together with more tempo.

The games since December when we laboured away without enough thrust are proving to remain a thorn in the side.

Nothing there to disagree with. Bog standard after match interview when your team loses. What matters is what he and his coaches are saying to the players.

They missed 3 sitters…it could easily have been 0-6.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

I thought we were marginally better first 15/20 mins without creating much or playing that well. After that Sunderland started to grow in confidence a goal was coming long before it arrived, they missed 2 great chances before they scored.
