Post Match Manager Interviews 22:23 - Apr 9 with 391 viewsnumptydumpty

Part of the modern game but a very challenging part of a managers job.

When your team has played dreadfully and you know personally that everything that was done in training was completely ignored by a massive majority of the match day squad.

But you have to be seen as proactive !!!

People are saying Ainsworth out !!!

They say they weren't saying it with Critchley - short memories I fear !!!

People saying get rid of managers

The players have ruined two incoming managers that have had successes so far in their previous employments.

But what do you want a manager to say when teams of supposedly half decent players perform like a Sunday league team, the night after most the team been out on the lash !!!!

Am sure Ainsworth and Critchley would rather keep all within house and behind four walls but these days when you get totally outplayed you still have to sit down and answer banal questions with similarly banal answers.

I.am not blaming managers at all for this disaster !!

Ie ruined two managers reputations in double quick time !!!

But what else can you say

Yes we were really sh*t and I have no idea why. But obviously it's not what I want !!!!

It's a poisoned chalice, an interview immediately after an embarrassing performance. What can you say ? ?

And to be fair, whatever you say will be jumped upon all over !!!
