I'm very sorry for those who went today. It is pretty sad to see them look so weak. Even our one attempt at the end lacks any energy.

There is much ringing of hands and shouting tonight and much shouting at Ainsworth but the truth is that the club now, having essentially got rid of Ferdinand, now doesn't have a DOF. Ainsworth firstly doesn't have any money and has inherited certain players who aren't fit or are injured, and in some aren't fit to play at all for long periods. There is no money.

You can build beautiful facilities and make everything shiny for the team but if you have a squad as thin as this there is little way to dress it up.
