I was thinking when we played at derby, Norwich we were truly awful. Have we played anybody worse than when we played in those games?

This Leicester side is packed with multi million pound players and I think they were worse than anybody we’ve met so far. But no team as bad as we have been.

Had Leicester started that 16 year old then things may have been a bit diffferent. Reckon he’ll be sold in Jan but kept on loan with them for the season.

captains fantastic

I want success as much as anyone, however the the thought of playing In the Prem fills me with dread, I hated It last time but celebrated at the play off final at Wembley like a lunatic.

I found the long journey home from WHL after getting easily beat by Spurs In the opener a struggle.

I don't understand myself at times.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

To answer your question I don't think we can go up... there are at least 5 or 6 teams better than us... and several capable of doing what we are doing

Do I want us to go up... in an heartbeat
.
I would take a year of having our @rses handed to us on a plate and come back down with a couple of hundred million sovs in our back pocket to really start something here

My dread is the Luton syndrome... but I honestly don't think that would happen to us..

If we got in the play offs, which probably ten to twelve teams all have the possibilities to do that, then think its anyones.

If the miracle happened, i stand to get £1250 from QPR.

Bought a 5 grand bond and throughout there has been a 25% promotion bonus on offer but it has to be achieved within the five years of the bond. This season is the last chance.

Guessing a few on here and obviously all that purchased some level in the bond will all benefit from the 25% bonus.....

Saying that beyond that - we need to start performing away more.consistently...

It's an old sticking point. I'm perfectly happy in this division, hate the Prem. I know I'm in the minority as folk will say what's the point, it's a competition.
They're right I know.

Coventry are apparently not outstanding then.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

I can't understand anyone who doesn't want us to go up ! Without ambition to improve what's the point of supporting a team. I definitely want us to be playing football at the highest level possible. Or heaven forbid win a cup or possibly both.

I'm so well-versed in not-going-down scenarios and endless relegation implications that I can't understand or make sense of the question being posed here - yet.

I'll admit to looking at the table last night and thinking there's not really anyone outside the top two to be especially fearful of. And if you look at our games over Xmas we're playing three of the bottom four, and West Brom who are bottom half... In principle there's no reason not to be aiming for a big points haul that would take us into January well in the mix...

I think we can make the top 6. I doubt we'd go up though.

Can we finally win away on Boxing Day this year?Or will we find a way to cock it up?

Of course we could. Remember Sunderland were the worst team in the play offs, lucky to win the SF and the Final but they recruited well in the summer and are doing ok.
Our recruitment under CN has been excellent and I'd trust the club to recruit well enough that we'd have a fighting chance of staying up.

Don't get excited. It's great that we are winning games and all that but we are capable of also being rubbish. I can't predict what we will do next but the way we lose sometimes is not indicative of a team that's going up.

Which is fine. I'm just glad we aren't in a relegation battle. This is great!

This
In previous years all we have dreamed of is a nice boring mid table season, without any threat or fear of relegation.
Throw a few days in like yesterday and Birmingham, without us getting drawn into a promotion race and it’s almost the perfect season

I think.it is unlikely, at the moment. The signs of improvement are there for all to see, however, we are only an injury away from having to rely on Frey as a starter (and we can expect to lose Kone for AFCON already).

Sure, we may end up challenging for the top 6 and this would represent our best season for a decade. We're making progress and I'm enjoying it for what it is.

Could we go up? Not as it stands but wouldn't it be good if we were challengers from now on? Every season having something to shoot for in the last 6 matches rather than desperately aiming for survival? Sign me up!
