Somewhat surprisingly just qualified for next round of P L cup without playing as Stockport beat Cardiff. Their dream of retaining the trophy lives on in spite of them having a couple of disappointing results recently. Actually good because it surely helps the team spirit especially those now no longer getting in the first team squad as games are competitive.

I’ve been to watch a couple of the cup games and was pleasantly surprised to see that result of Stockport beating Cardiff. I didn’t feel it was loosing to Burnley that was where the damage was done, but more drawing with Cardiff when we were 2-0 up , cruising along and then gave them 2 penalties. The cup final dream on a warm May evening in the Bush lives on a while longer!
