Great start to the season. Today was not good enough and it hurts. Still fully invested from Australia — more than I have been in a very long time (supported the team both from near and afar over 50 years) We can do this. Get behind the team. We are going places. Tbf I wasnt disappointed at all coming out of the ground.
We played a poor first half and the team selection was almost guaranteed to not do well. But second half , on another day we end up winning that game. Boro could easily be involved at the sharp end and have the qualities to get automatic promotion so even with strange selections, our best team is incredibly competitive in this league.
Three years ago we were consistently losing 10 home games a season and were getting absolutely tonked by the better teams. Today we actually were very competive in the second half.
If we can keep in the top ten for as long as possible, which realistically this season should be the bare minimum. Am very much liking this team and manager.
