Losing mentality yet again on this board. Did you see how terrible they were in the first half an hour? They've been god awful all season and you're happy with a draw?

It was a very frustrating watch tonight,I have lost count of the amount of times ive come away saying ... ohh we looked good for 15mins at the start,Burnley were very vulnerable thank god Chair came on otherwise we wouldnt have even have drawn tonight.

The miss at the end from that new lad was criminal.

The scene when mr Burns reminds Homer that he is here forever comes to mind
When i think of QPR and the Championship.

On the balance of play I think a draw was a fair result, but I’m not happy about it. We had more than enough to win and didn’t take our chances. I said in the match thread, if we’re serious about the play-offs we need to win games like this. A draw isn’t good enough.

There seems to be an opinion that we would have lost this game last season so be content with a draw. The way I see it we have been better than Burnley this season and therefore we should have expected to win and not be satisfied we drew. When we were as bad as Burnley were tonight they stuffed us on their previous two visits. This was a wasted opportunity to beat them as they will probably start getting their act together when their new manager gets to grips with them.

It seems to be an unwritten rule that a team in poor form sacks their manager just before playing us and then we fail to beat them and here is another example. Preston did the same and since their draw at our place I think they have only picked up one more point.

It appears the thinking is that Lincoln is the easiest game of this difficult period but just a little reminder a few weeks ago Lincoln beat this poor Burnley team 4-1 to see off their manager. It was always going to be the case that Burnley would park the bus tonight as their first away game since Lincoln so we should have expected it. As Lincoln whacked this Burnley side then Saturday could be a more difficult game then Burnley tonight.

We're not getting in the play offs.

A win tonight would have taken us up to seventh place.

As it is we are a point off the play off's during a vein of inconsistent form and our usual glut of injuries.

Like it or not we are very much in the mix.

I thought they were awful . Should have put them to bed early in the first half .
Even in the second half when they had more of the ball we still had by far the better chances.
Our retention of the ball in the last quarter was abysmal at times.
Just glad we came away with something.
Ronnie and Cirkin our standouts.

Well yes plenty of games to go but we are just so inconsistent. Every season we're always good for a statement win like against Swansea, but every time we fail to follow it up.

I know what is meant by not being too unhappy with a point, as let's face it if their keeper hadn't turned into jelly hands that is one more point than we would have got. Although I was a bit disappointed Charles didn't do better with theirs.

What I hate about being in this division for so long is how we seem to relive our season, time and time again. Work ourselves into a half decent position, get presented with two very winnable home games in succession (wasn't it Southampton last year) then spaff it against the wall.

At least we picked up a point and if we can beat Lincoln (ho ho) then 4 points from the week is passable.

Fans are always talking about how our poor injury record is holding us back, but for me the consistency is an issue right up there with the injuries, both are holding us back, season after season. Last night being a prime example.

After the start we made this season I was really hoping that under Julien we would be a more consistent team but unfortunately it's currently turning out the same.

Yet again we are asking ourselves which Queens Park Rangers will turn up on Saturday.

There should be no QPR supporter 'happy' with a draw against a very limited & pretty poor Burnley side where we controlled the match......we should have won very comfortably indeed.

Shoulda could woulda... this is the proverbial glass half full or empty thread.

I'm in the half full camp. The basic fact that we came back from 0-1 down to draw isn't enough to justify that on its own, but it's the way we're playing now that pushes the dial into the positive for me. We look more dangerous and more organised than we did last season, and we're creating more chances. The missing piece of the puzzle is having a full squad available.

The key metric will be where we finish this season. If - and I accept it's a big if - we can get some consistency in our starting line-up, players like Chair who looked rusty last night, will be properly up to speed. When Burrell and Madsen are back, I think we'll see all the hard work that's been put in on the training field come to fruition. There is still more than 2/3 of the season to go. Way too early to write us off. Top 8 is still doable.

it was a 0-0 game that had two goals thanks to two flukey efforts.
We looked ok at the back but weak up front, with none of the front four showing anything at all.
With a first choice front 4 that was actually fit, we would have won.
A disappointing performance, you can't be happy with it. Burnley looked absolutely awful.

Bare bones.

I think that is a great description of it; a 0-0 with two dodgy goalkeeping moments. One thing that hasn’t happened this year (yet anyway and we have played some good teams) is going on a run of defeats. I know you couldn’t describe last night as ‘bouncing back’ from Southampton, but at least we prevented a second consecutive defeat. We haven’t lost two games in a row, never mind more than that, this season which is encouraging.

Sigh. I suppose.

Yes we're playing better, there is a pattern of play established, it seems everyone knows what their role is. But it all counts for nothing if there are no goals scored at the end of it.

with 10 mins left I thought I'd be happy with a draw, could see Burnley nicking one.

Frustrating night though, a replica of the Charlton game

We've scored ten goals across the last three home games.
