I like my team to have a few giants in it but looking at what i can only guess will be our team its looks short on height thats fine when we have the ball and pass it around but against the desperates using hoof ball tactics we may well struggle at the back

Traore, Hill, Ferdinand and Onouho (or whatever his name is) are all over 6 foot. They won everything in the air first half. Park and Fabio were extremely quick on the ground in front of them. The thing that impressed me first half in the friendly was our pace on the ball. For preseason it's pretty good to be that quick already. |  |

We don't want a team of big lumps and Stoke destroy any aspect of the word entertainment. It works but we don't have a history of being a bunch of hoofers.
For me we are still missing a big commanding centre half would dominates the high ball at the back and is dangerous on set pieces.
TBH Hill is very strong in the air allbeit not very tall.
We were great against man city but they did have tevez and augero mainly upfront. I was pleased they didn't start dzecho excuse the spelling but there is an argument that we need a samba type playing centre half. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]
