My son-in-law got a picture with Jimmy after the Burnley game and asked him when he was signing a new contract and Jimmy said “soon”.
I did point out afterwards that Jimmy didn’t actually say who for. |

Check out a Canadian band called The Commoners BC. Very Black Crowes influenced. I saw them in Hastings 3 weeks ago, then went to see The Sheepdogs a week later and they were the support band. |

If you like the Southern rock feel have a listen to The Sheepdogs and The Commoners. Both Canadian bands and both really good. And if you do like them The Sheepdogs are playing in Islington on the 5th of December with The Commoners supporting [Post edited 12 Sep 2024 21:30]

Sorry to be pedantic Juzzie but it's just Eels, no "The".
Your Queen comment is so far off the mark. I reckon Brian May wrote as many songs as Freddie did. John Deacon wrote some of the well known ones too (Another One Bites the Dust, You're My Best Friend etc). The sound of Brian May's guitar is so unique, mainly because he built it himself originally.
On the "solo" artist side, David Bowie is the one for me that probably wouldn't have had anywhere the success he had without Mick Ronson. |
