Peter crouch (loan) or Peter Odemwingie
Scott Sinclair (cheeky loan)
Sebastian Coates
Jake Livermore
Scott Dann

Coates had a shocker yesterday
There's a reason an average Liverpool team has yet to try him on any sort of regular basis
One spectacular goal at LR doesn't make him Nelsen's replacement IMHO

I like those targets except Coates who is awful.

Scott Sinclair and Rodwell joining City reminds me of when Parker and SWP went to Chelsea. They were never going to cut it in the first team and they will basically rot there for 2 or 3 years before finally moving on to another club for less than a 1/3 of the money. What a poor summer City had in the market.

Livermore (loan)
Dann (can't think of another realistic CB)
Gary Hooper (i'll be gutted if he goes to Norwich)

Don't think we'll get 5 in...

You can view that statement both ways. I think the pressure of being a big money signing and expectation at Liverpool might be too much for him. There must be a player in there somewhere surely?

1. A football experienced Chief Executive
2. Coherent plan for the next 3 years
3. A fans forum
4. Investment and focus on youth and local talent (Warren Farm)
5. Oh and two centre backs, a midfield powerhouse, a pacey winger and a striker who can bag 16 goals from now till May

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

1-5 Crouch.

He single handedly kept us up last season and he wasn't even playing in the same stadium let alone on the same team.

Current location: OX10

I would imagine that the four HR has targeted are Yun Suk-Young, Rolando, Jake Livermore and Odemwingie. That would leave us with this first-team squad of 26:

Cesar, Green, Murphy
Fabio, Young, Suk-Young, Traore
Rolando, Hill, Ben Haim, Onuoha
Derry, MBia, Livermore, Faurlin, Diakite
Mackie, Taarabt, SWP, Park, Granero, Hoilett
Remy, Zamora, Odemwingie, Bothroyd

With QPR being QPR, and Redknapp being Redknapp, there could possibly well be a few more in out of left-field just for the sake of it in the final few hours of the window. Probably another centre-half for Luke Young (I'm dreading Titus Bramble), and another striker for Bothroyd or Diakite (Peter Crouch seems to be heavily linked to us....AGAIN)
