Eckert immediately sh*tying the proverbial bed and taking off Akachukwu and Bragg.. And in the process we've buoyed up a key Championship opponent, when this should gave been exploring other options. Why on earth not give Sanda or Quasie a run out instead of Stephens. Who cares about the EFL Cup this season? Pointless risk of key players

Missed a good chance, Piroe skinned him far to easily for a chance, terrible clearance for their 2nd goal, didn’t manage to block Bowen’s shot for their 4th. As I’ve said before for me Stephens is an accident waiting to happen Mind you, Edozie was poor for their 3rd and Peretz for their first, so all in all a rubbish day at the office for the Saints!

Bowlercow added 10:13 - Aug 26 The only thing I enjoyed last night was the pre and post match visit to the Prince of Wamles Good little Saints pub They have a good range of beers,you don't wait ages to be served,the pints are poured fresh and you get a real glass Even better it's about £2 a pint cheaper than the fan zones Oh and the Saintss performance was garbage WHU have given Stevens their motm award
