It's not for me. All a bit too contrived. The lads may have written it, but it sounds AI performed.
If the club want to carry on using it, use it in the build up somewhere, but not just before kick-off.
On a related theme, I really like Dean's poem, but the past two seasons it's been completely drowned out and ruined by the change in backing music.
The piano worked best as a a build up. That should be rectified. |

Growing up, Brook House (in Hayes) were a QPR partner club. Can only assume they still are.
Used to play against them at Sunday league level fair bit. |

Pleased with this pick up. As mentioned in the piece, it brings some much needed experience and, on paper at least, is an upgrade on Hayden (assuming that's the role he's here to play).
Overall, a good window.
We spent a lot last season, and went early in January with a punchy outlay on RE, so I'd expected a summer of reined in spending.
I imagine we'll keep our power dry to see how the early season pans out and whether there are favourable deals towards the end of the window. |

Lot of ifs, buts, and maybes, but a fit Lamptey could be a massive pick up and huge improvement at RB.
I want to temper my expectations for this season, but the club are making a lot of smart moves this summer. |

As much as the majority view on here is that away should be Dennis colours, these more left field shirts do sell a lot more.
I may be misremembering, but the all pink one from the Eze years was a huge seller, and this recent liquorice allsorts shirt seems pretty popular in the stands.
I'd personally like to see the 1998/99 Ericsson yellow shirt make a comeback for our next away one. |

Goes to show what good, engaged ownership can do. We had a chance and we wasted it.
It pains me that I'll probably never experience what those Palace fans did yesterday.
They have ownership that listens to fans and brings them on the journey. We have a leadership team that treats fans with contempt.
They have a mobilised, organised fan base (albeit there are growing factions), that pressure the club and have built a proper atmosphere. We have generational divides and internet proxy battles. |

I feel for Adamson and Smith - both way out of their depth in different respects.
I can't imagine Adamson will be he much longer. He's 23, by which age he should be challenging for a starting place or at the very least getting minutes in rotation. When he has appeared, it's clear that this level is above him.
So far this season he's been in the squad 21 times, started once, subbed on five times. When we've had suspensions and injuries, he's either been an unused sub or not in the squad. That says a lot.
Smith, it's clear is an age and experience thing. Very young (only 20), very raw, but could develop - too early to tell.
Having said that, in his last two appearances, he's given away two penalties for amateur tackles - irrespective that yesterday wasn't even in the box, it was a silly challenge to make.
No way he gets a League 1 or 2 loan. Perhaps a National League side to get him playing adult football at a fairly speedy pace would help? |

According to a mate who's a Dagenham & Redbridge fan, sounds like Uncle Tony is buying a stake in the Daggers.
Was at their home game over the weekend.
Will be an interesting watch; that club have gone through a string of questionable owners over the past few years. |

I'm not concerned at present. We must remember he's still just 22 years old and he's only had two seasons of professional football.
While he started so strongly and rode the wave of positivity around his arrival, he was always going to need a period of adjustment at this level.
He's proving a handful and his presence definitely helps Burrell find space. |

We played against 10 men for an hour. That second half wasn't pretty by any stretch of the imagination.
I'm very pleased with the win, and think there were some great individual performances, but that doesn't gloss over what we saw. |
