My argument would be the Club and Players (and Fans) were the most "let down" by his actions, and if they (we?) can 'forgive' Tonda and move on, then banning just ruins his career (in the UK). "The Club" overall has already been punished sufficiently. Let's just drop it all - and any potential / future "cases" against the club. We can't be "compensating" left right and centre to "sort out the problems". |

Agreed 1962 - we need 'clarity' on the manager situation ASAP! This "delay" by the FA (regardless of whether the world cup is on!!!) is not acceptable! There's planning to be done! In addition, Boro just released a statement basically demanding Saints are kicked out of the Play Off Final .... ummmm .... isn't that "trying to influence the outcome" of an investigation .... perhaps they should just be quiet now and let it run its course! Also, lets not forget the GDPR infraction of the Hotel releasing the name of a card transaction to the Club !! Maybe they should get charged too! |

I'm with Pezza - Bree did an excellent job on Mason-Clark, who was their main outlet - kept his impact down to a minimum. He was my MOTM. But like you say Nick, Azaz was everywhere and took over from Larin after his substitution as the sole striker, with Cam more in midfield. Also as above, love the way GK and Defence celebrate the tackles and blocks, think that is the Peretz effect for sure. |

Agree with most of the above Nick. But reckon Stephens will likely be 'around' - otherwise why renew his contract? - and kept for changing room leadership and knowledge of the club and players, mentoring, etc. - but hopefully won't be on the pitch too much!
Believe Bednarek has a £6m relegation release clause now active, FYI.
Surely ABK is off, finally ... although if Will Still likes the look of him ...?! But would then need to renew contract ideally, as only 1yr left! So probably Sell.
THB = tough one?! We would want at least money back, if not slightly more. But would anyone pay that, certainly not Burnley!!
Suppose, if we are confident (as you can be!) that we WILL get promoted - there's the option to loan out our best players, with the dangle of premiership (with us) next season (potentially?!), but making sure we get all their wages covered and a decent loan lump sum fee.
Guess we Will see ..... at some point! |
