If you'd ever seen the old suit up close you'd know he was due a refresh. It was absolutely disgusting. Years of childrens snot and grime matted into the fur, looked awful.

Really feel for Stephan. He's rotating like mad to keep injuries at bay and it's made fck all difference.
Dunne and Kemper were 'football' injuries, as in they happened as part of a coming together. But we've got Chair, Lampety, Kone, Poku and Saito who have all been unable to make it through 6 games due to tweaks, tears and twinges.
Meanwhile our best laid plans to slowly build up Madsen, Kamara, Cirkin and Burrell are now in the bin because there's nobody else.
The S&C at the club is absolutely awful |

So hopefully that means he just misses the next 3 games and is back in a month for West Ham.
I doubt that though to be honest. There's 7 games between the two international breaks this year and I'd wager we don't really see him back until Millwall away on November 21st |

I'm wondering if I watched the same player as half the people in here last season.
An absolute warrior who knows how to score. has started the season slowly, probably slightly unfit due to pre season injury, and now injured.
There's 41 games left this season in the league. He will be fine because he's shown he's very very useful at this level.
Never been quick, but an absolute battering ram if we need him |

The new 'anthem' is essentially an updated version of this let's be honest!
Our club songs aren't overly unique at the moment. Pigbag is used by Boro, London Calling by every single other London side as well.
However I do like the idea of the 3-4 songs before Kick Off being QPR/West London songs.
So Libertines, Clash are obvious... Bastille actually support QPR so don't really mind that, Sex Pistols, The Cure... it can be done.
Then play the poem, then let the lads walk out to Pigbag
If you are going to write an anthem I'd actually base it around Captain Jack which I think is unique to us |

The squad is good but a lot of them need their minutes managed.
Lampety, Mbengue, Kamara, Madsen, Burrell and Lloyd were absolutely spent by 65/70 mins and I felt Cardiff were starting to step onto us.
I didn't mind the big raft of changes. It's a punishing few days coming up with what looks like 3 tough games in the next 10 days.
I think the glut of changes on 60 points to a reassessment of how we manage players and their load which I thinbk is a good sign after the last 2 seasons |

He's been with us for 4 seasons now and played 16, 33, 11 and 14 games
He, quite rightly, is not first choice despite being arguably the best in his position at the club.
If there is an offer for him that is acceptable then it's a no brainer for me.
He isn't a starter and can't cope with rigours of Championship football |

I thought we looked good. Millwall a v tough opponent and compared to last season we stood up well to them.
I'd like to see us stick with that midfield 3 at home this season if we can. It's very progressive and creative. Give Chair and Vale the chance to learn those roles and it could be a cracking season.
Back 4 looked solid (Mbengue brain farts aside).
Not sure about Burell on the right, but Poku did no better when he was on |

Alemayhu certainly a positive over last couple of games. Could be an option in there at points this season but a long way to go before he's the answer |

Awful injury record, but if go with the assumption he is going to be fit for about half the season then great.
What we can't do is build the whole team around him and his pace and flog him into the ground by December.
Don't need to see him until after that chunky international break in September really, then take it from there |

Club just tweeted out we've signed Tariq Lampety

We had them. Had the players to keep going as well.

Very much sorted that keeper position now.
Got rid of the 4 keepers we had last season and brought in 2 who *should* be better (plus a rated youngster in Salomon as the 3rd choice).
Done, sorted, thank you very much lets all move on.
All about 2 central midfielders now and if the budget is there at the end, a right back |

The greatest player this country has ever produced.
Hung around at Tottenham when he could've easily agitated for a move. Finally asked for a move when it was all falling to pieces and was told he had to stay... so he did and carried on scoring loads whilst carrying the team.
Finally got a move to a notoriously snobby domestic league and absolutely blew the doors off of it.
Nobody else at international level comes close. 30 goals more than our next best goalscorer. Not slowing down. Goals in 2x semi finals, 2x QF. Captained the side aged 24 to their first semi final on foreign soil in nearly 30 years
Not to say Haaland isn't incredible, but I'd have him over Haaland any day. He's incredible and I'm not sure how England replace him |
