While I am ever hopefully we can at least consolidate our league 2 status, that was a hard watch yesterday. I agree the defence was better, but throwing your body about to block is not really football, and that's what we did for the majority of the game. I W in one of his first interviews said we could expect attacking football. My mums toy poodle was more threatening than our forwards. You can't score goals if you have 8 or nine players camped in your own half, It's hard to see where the goals are going to come from so far. There can't be many worse teams than us in this league at the moment. |

What's with the goal kick tactic? 2 players either side of the six yard box, passing to Ramming and back. Maybe every so often, but every time! Late substitutions, no change in playing style even when it's clearly not working. Poor game management. It's depressing. |

If Ian Watson reads this forum, I'd like to say to him that 4 back line players constantly passing the ball between themselves and the goal keeper is not entertaining. After all we watch the game to be entertained. That as nothing to do with injuries, and everything to do with playing style. It needs changing and rapidly. I don't think either centre backs are good enough. Nor is playing two full backs out of position a good move. A big rethink is needed before Saturday. |

I didn't say it was anything to do with the Hereford game. It's the style of play overall that's killed my enthusiasm. No goal threat especially. It's not this forum either I'll still be following here, and I'll still look up the scores. I'm just not interested in streaming matches for now. |

I have watched Dale since 1948. Rain, Hail, Snow and anything else the weather gods sent, found me at Spotland no matter what. This season has lost my interest. Now living in Australia I intended to purchase a pass to stream the National League games. Then I toyed with the idea of a firestick, in fact I bought one. Now I can't be arsed to sit up in the middle of the night watching or listening to this horrible style of football. To me,to you, sideways, backwards, repeat. Tippy tappy with no end result. For now it will be a good night's sleep instead. Up The Dale. I wish you well. |
