Armstrong could be a useful weapon against that Leeds defence.

Coventry don’t play with VAR in the Championship and that happens. The game is finished.

Technically he was very good - a Marti player for sure. I thought their left hand sided defender was superb. Strong, quick and direct.

Player of the season
at 11:11 21 Apr 2024

Has to be Cook. His overall professionalism and approach is outstanding. Having said that JCS alongside him has been incredible, especially yesterday. I doubt he will be here next season as his form will not have gone unnoticed.

Thank you Marti Cifuentes.

It’s an incredible achievement given what he inherited. He’s worked a miracle but he has two outstanding traits in that he doesn’t panic and he’s intelligent, when dissecting the performances of the team.
Blimey, we are lucky to have him and I can’t wait to see how he re-shapes the squad.

Tiger a chance on me but don't let me down Hull Vs QPR Match Thread

Who goes down with Rotherham will go down to the final game. We have to go for it and look after our business. At this stage of the season this performance is a shocker.

Wow! Getting run ragged and way off it. Hull sense a cricket score.

For my sins, I was at St Andrew’s with a mate who’s a lifelong Blues fan. Most of the fans are resigned to going down as it was obvious the whole team has downed tools. From a professional perspective they were a disgrace to the shirt last night and once Cardiff scored, most of the team literally gave up.
Fair play to Rowett, he tried everything to get them to move up a gear ,but again it was obvious they are not having him. I see this morning he has called them out for lacking passion, fight and professionalism.
It’s difficult having what I watched last night to see them getting another point. They literally have to score first to have any chance.

I think we will be ok. Marti has worked a miracle. Can’t wait to see Begovic, Dykes, Kakay and a few others getting moved on. Begovic has probably cost us 6-8 points since Xmas but Dykes is stealing a living. Smyth had two great chances to finish it tonight bit that’s why he was playing L1 last season.

Onuoha on loosing his mum
at 14:54 22 Mar 2024

Brilliant to hear that your wife is doing really well. Being told that something sinister had been found (in my case) following a colonoscopy was truly devastating. My wife who was with me (and a renal consultant of 40yrs) asked was it cancer and the consultant nodded.
I have worked in highly paid jobs around the world earning a fantastic living but that came at a price. I hadn’t realised until my diagnosis that life had caught up with me at 63 and I was facing a tough time ahead from Aug 22.
I made the decision that evening to retire and my wife laid out the odds against the different types/stages of bowel cancer. Thankfully, I am doing well and retired.
I see more of my family (literally everyday) and I love it and tell them I love them dearly.I can go to R’s again. I’ve realised I don’t need that much money to live on but I take care of everyone. Most importantly and late in life -I love being around as I have stuff to do.
I changed some of my lifestyle habits. I don’t drink much alcohol. I’ve given up red meat and processed foods and try to exercise as much as I can.
A cancer journey is painful and no one journey is similar. For my fellow cancer colleagues on this forum -best wishes and live life!

Wishing you well. If it helps I decided to do exactly what I was told by my medical team. They were brilliant and I was very well taken care of. Best wishes.

I was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer in August 2022 - a few months before I was retiring. No symptoms but detected when I took a poo test, which has ultimately saved my life.
I opted for robotic surgery and underwent post surgical treatment as well as being in the 5yr surveillance program. 18 months on and I’m doing really well with no signs of a return of my cancer.
Good luck to anyone who is going through that journey.
For me, money doesn’t come into it when you lose a loved one. We all deal with death differently. I must admit when I was diagnosed it made me think how short life is. I really do live every day as though it were my last - you just never know what’s around the corner.

The Championship clubs should refuse to play the three relegated PL clubs. Football is eating itself.

Don’t forget Hayden. He seems to be the catalyst that re-set standards and professionalism in the team. He’s a Rolls-Royce player at this level.
I love his no nonsense, no arrogance and steely determination. Fantastic player for us.

I keep thinking someone is going to turn up at LR and reclaim Andersen. What an incredible signing at this time in the season.

Absolutely agree. His impact is almost Venables like and a huge cut above what is in the Championship apart from McKenna at Ipswich. However, when you look at Everton, WHam, Palace and a few other PL clubs you know he would make them so much better.
I think we have to enjoy the ride with Marti whilst it lasts because he is destined for bigger things.

I literally watched every game (home and away) during the 75/76 season. His hat-trick at Champions Derby in a 5-1 win at the Baseball ground was incredible. He was literally unplayable that whole season.
RIP you absolute legend.

"To me, to you" Chuckle Brothers in London - The Qpr Vs Rotherham Matc

At the game - a shambles in the first 10mins. Thereafter, not much better. For such an important game we lack pace, guts and brains. It’s obvious they have no pace in their back four but we don’t have the balls to have a go. Crowd quite and Rotherham having a stroll about in LR.
