He was most likely offered them by the club and said "Yes". Not sure how much that makes them "his" signings. None of them were players he identified....presumably....could be wrong of course but haven't seen anything to say they were his.

He might have spotted Lakerche playing in Lge one but then he didn't pick him anyway to play.

Reggie Cannon? really unlikely

Fox...maybe

Colback....maybe

He was a massive fanboy of Begovic like he had won the lottery.

Like most I thought he would pick up a few lower league players but there was nothing. Would imagine his hands were tied with transfers tbf. He was offered players and had to decide if they work for him or not.

Yes, it was in a way for me too. Guys like Jimmy Martin. Doc Watson, Earl Scruggs, Roy Acuff, Merle Travis...I hadn't known much of before. The mix of old and new with the Nitty Gritty guys made for a classic album.

Ralph Stanley and the Stanley Brothers are at the top of the genre for me. Later on guys like John Hartford.

He's a bit shit tbf but archer has no interest in playing football and I don't think Walsh should be thrown in at this stage of the season. No choice but to back him.

It feels a bit like we have gone full circle from the ridiculous contracts in the prem and later years back to talking about much Rowan Vine earns and how he needs to leave.

Suppose that's just where we are. Leave Uncs alone though, he plays for the 1st team and the u23s so doing a double shift!

If we can get close to our best team on the pitch (Cook, JCS, Cannon, Chair, Willock, Colback) then I think we will win. If we start with Jimmy, Fox, Kakay etc then we will lose.
