The best thing we can do is prepare well for next season. Play well, get some points under our belt and show what we can do on the field.
Things move on quickly to the next drama and the media is very fickle moving on to the next crisis.
I only hope that other misdemeanours are treated equally stringently against other clubs. The EFL has set a tough standard they now have to be consistent. The PL also need to look at their own house and sort out ongoing alleged ongoing cases. |

I maintain my position at the start of the season.
This year it is all about steadying the ship and then building for the future. As long as we look like we are making progress then that is fine by me.
If we have a strong end of season finish, but just miss out on the top 6 I will be happy.
As has been said, after relegation the team was in a mess and there was a lot of work to do.
Mind you, let's make sure we don't take anything for granted. We are only 8 points off relegation and need another 3 or 4 wins gto be safe! |

We need a new GK. Bazunu is very passive IMO.
Yes, a good experienced leader in Central Defence but also a strong dominant GK, who reads the game and barks orders to his defence.
I only ever played at Sunday League level, but I remember when our team had a new GK, who was vocal, read the game, commanded his area and barked orders. We had massive respect for him and we won a lot of games because he had us organised. We suddenly started winning games we had previously lost.
Also, I believe it was the legend Bill Shankly who said you build a great team starting with the GK. |
