He has undoubted quality - 157 games for Porto and 29 in Europe and the Champions League.

They drew with Wisla Krakow, who have just won promotion from 1 Liga to the Ekstraklasa, so not sure how good they are? They only won 2 or their 6 pre-season friendlies although they won their first league match at the weekend. |

That's football for you.
Morgan Rogers £117 million, Anderson 116 million - both ridiculous fees despite being good players.
Rogers signed until 2033 - which in itself is ridiculous but used to play the system to pay the fee over the length of contract - Chelsea always seem to do this.
Just at £6 million - if he does well, he could go to the PL for £10 million plus (release fee in his contract?)
The same with Opoku - so not really a gamble especially as the fee is paid over their contract. |

Or you could look at it another way and think of the players who have signed for Swansea City and who love playing for the club and living in the area so much so that they stay for life.
