Hello all. Bit of a cry for help as want to watch the game whilst I’m abroad.. I don’t seem to be having much luck when trying to subscribe to the DAZN platform on a monthly pass. Anyone had this issues before and is there any way around it? Thank you! |

Didn't play a single minute for us, I'm afraid. |

Genuinely bemused by some of what I'm reading. I find the lack of appreciation for Jim mindblowing at times. I think a lot of us dont quite realise just how tough those first 18 months in the role were, and to come out the other side of it with a more than respectable league position, saleable assets from our academy and some really smart recruitment that is a big part of our squad today is commendable at the very least. Not only that, lets not forget; we've had a good start to the season?! Jim will leave us one day. I hope it isnt soon and I hope that he sees out our 3-year plan at a minimum. However football doesnt quite work like that sometimes and as long as he continues to do a really good job with us, then this wont be the first football club to come knocking on the door for his services. None of us truly know whether he applied or was approached. I'd be very surprised if he actively applied given the 3-year contract and backing he has with us at the moment. JMBA |

Oh, I remember and will quite frankly never forget. Not sure how you’d achieve anything in life with that outlook. Thank god the rest of us have stuck in there and fought too the end. |

I really am fingers crossed for tonight, and cautiously(!!) optimistic. To anyone considering voting against the resolutions, just remember these few things: 1. If you invested in Rochdale FC expecting to get your money back or make money, you did it for the wrong reasons. 2. If you vote against, you are voting against the current & all future generations of Rochdale fans, to whom this club means so much. I consider it a very simple decision. The outcome for voting against has been CLEARLY outlined, and the outcome has been made ABUNDANTLY clear. So lets not be victims and be sat here tomorrow thinking 'if only we knew'. I for one, will be doing the right thing tonight and voting 'Yes'. Of course, this is unchartered territory for us all, and not one of us know how this will all turn out. Give the club a chance to come out of this o the other side. Embrace the change, don't fear it. Up the Dale! |

That performance today was anything but “messing around in defence”. We had multiple ways of playing out and getting into their final third. We weren’t overly fixated like in previous years on playing out from the back. The number of times we went long to try and get in behind, clipped into a full back or into a striker dropping deep will have far outweighed how many times we pleased across our back 4. Sorry to jump on this specific comment but that’s the most enjoyable set up of a team I’ve seen for years. Of course we’ll get it wrong sometimes but all we did today was play exactly how the opposition didn’t want us too in every moment. Yes, they were poor but strongly believe a lot of that was because of how good we were in possession today. |

Hi Anthony, really appreciate the fact you’ve flreached out to supporters for ideas. 2 things that come to mind: - More craft beer options (how restricted are you with Lees?) - Dale Themed Lager/Pale Ale - Dale Trust Member Discount? - More Dale themed memorabilia to make it more of a home for Dale fans - Rotated Street Food Vendors - Live Music pre game [Post edited 15 Jun 2023 7:11]

Would have him back in a heartbeat. Great character and was pretty faultless during his time here. His character and leadership skills would be crucial, and would be a part of guiding what’s likely to be a new look inexperienced squad. |

Mike Williamson would be my 1st choice. Done a tremendous job at Gateshead and ticks a lot of boxes for the type of manager I’d want to see and who we can realistically attract if the board get their act together. |

Properly furious with this one. In our circumstances it’s probably right we take the right fee for him, but if we’ve sacrificed him playing minutes and helping us get results in our desperate plight to avoid relegation then it’s quite frankly inexcusable - especially when he’s under contract for another 18 months. I just cannot comprehend what’s going on at the moment. A trial?! Seriously?! Can you imagine if he picked up a bad injury in that game. We’d lose an asset and lose him from our attempt at staying up. GIVE ME A BREAK, #RAFC |

Just as worrying for sure. A managers job at this level is hard enough, never mind a below par training facility and no recruitment infrastructure to work with. We have no marginal gains on any of the league and are pretty much reliant on a manager working miracles to keep us afloat. I think in Jim Bentley, we’ve got a manager that is up for the fight and is willing to crack on with these restrictions. But to give us any fighting chance of progressing as a football club again we really do need to resolve these 2 things. Easier said than done of course but it has to be our aim as a football club. |

Think the below is pretty scathing and worrying. I’ve made the point before that our recruitment is one of the main drivers behind where we are now. To be a professional football and not have a recruitment network is concerning and something that needs addressing before we regress any further: “There was also no recruitment team and we didn’t have anyone out scouting. We were around the play-offs at Christmas time (in 2021/22) and lost our two best players - Jake Beesley to Blackpool and Aaron Morley to Bolton - but there was nobody next on the list. So we were trying to fit in watching bits and pieces on Wyscout, while preparing, playing and reviewing games on the Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday-Tuesday cycle. There are some great people at the club. The owners were fans and had done an amazing job; the players worked hard and the staff were good. The analysis boys, Callum Jones (now at Burnley) and Adam Walton (now at Blackpool), were as good as any I’ve worked with. But there were things I would have known if I'd done my due diligence." |
