Another one who promised much but delivered very little.

The Nourry broom is sweeping clean the mess left by Les n Co.....

Fully agree on both points.

Especially about the academy, it's blatantly obvious this has been a huge failure, good to finally see those responsible finally getting moved out, Ramsey, Taylor etc. I would think there's more to go as well over coming weeks.

Spurs? What a surprise, I wonder who helped her get that gig.....

Part of the Les n Chris crew, promised much but delivered pretty much nothing, pleased she's gone.

I'm pretty sure Marti's the same as us you know, he has no idea how this lot will perform on Saturday, anything could happen.

I was talking to a Leeds fan earlier this week and the only reason I could give for us being so hot then cold is fatigue and fitness levels. I'm possibly being kind but it is tough trying to deliver top end performances in such close proximity, there is just not enough time to recover properly both mentally and physically.

Hey ho, batten down the hatches and cross everything...1-0 Rangers......

Faint hope, same failings, familiar faces - report

Great report as always.

I too am totally bemused by this re-appearance of Unc's, it's not fair on him or us, and I don't buy the talk of him being the most experienced for the situation on Tuesday or Saturday for that matter. There were/are much better options on the bench and I pray Marti sees sense this weekend and leaves him at home to work on his kick ups for Instagram.

I would just love to know why he bought Albert on?

He surely can't believe that Unc's is a better option than Hodge, Cannon, EDB or JCS?

What am I missing?

Pilgrim and Bare It - Plymouth Vs QPR Match Thread

Are we all still arguing about Dykes?

Bottom line is he played better last night all round, assisted with the goal and set up other chances, best we've seen from him in a while. Is that amazing and brilliant? No, but it's an improvement which is all you can really ask for at this point, if it lifts his confidence and he plays better for the last four games then I'm on board with that, he certainly can't get any worse than he has been over recent months.

Overall we were better than Saturday and we should have won, how many times have we said that this season? But that's the way it's going for us currently. I don't think we've really played well since West Brom.

I'm more concerned with Marti's sudden infatuation with Unc's, love him but he shouldn't be in the squad now and certainly shouldn't be getting on in front of Hodge, Cannon, EDB, JCS etc. in a game like that last night.

As for Begovic, well we knew this would happen at some point and it's quite possibly not the last mistake he will make.

To finish on a positive we got another point and kept that gap between us and the bottom three, it was hugely important not to lose last night and I'll take another point all day long on Saturday.

That's right he did and as I stated he was rated as poor, no surprise, what the other strikers did for them or indeed his record for Scotland is irrelevant. He does not do much for us at all and never really has, that's the reality.

Saturday's no-show piles pressure on QPR at Plymouth - Preview
at 11:31 9 Apr 2024

At the end of the day if we can't beat teams that are supposedly worse than us, the list is a fairly long one and includes teams such as Sunderland, then unfortunately we deserve to go down.

Marti's done an amazing job to get us to where we are but we all know what the problems are and it may well be that the poor form of our attacking players across the season is what kills us eventually.

I do think our main hope is teams below us not getting the results they need because our players can't be trusted when it really matters....sigh.....

He played against N Ireland the other week, he was given the lowest player ranking in the team and described as - Largely Anonymous.

The fellas been off what little game/form he had for quite some time now.

I feel a bit sorry for him really at this point because it ain't getting any better for him or us.

Re Armstrong, he's a young lad with some potential, seems a bit silly to just 'bin him off'. Appreciate he's not a natural but we literally have nothing else so i really don't know why everyone keeps going on about it.

Fully agree.

If you look over recent performances we haven't been amazing by any stretch of the imagination, think WBA was the last time we really looked good. But we've picked up points steadily and that's a clear sign we can achieve the aim of staying up.

We win a few games everyone goes mad and overreacts, we lose one game everyone goes mad and overreacts.

Marti knows the players were poor yesterday, quite a few of them look knackered, it's been an emotional season and that takes it toll. But like any good Coach he took the responsibility and blamed himself, he's aware the fans will slaughter the players so he doesn't need to get involved in that, he needs to lift them and instil some confidence in them so that they can finish the job.

If you'd have asked fans if we would like to be four points clear of relegation zone with 5 games to go when Marti took over I'm pretty sure everyone would say yes.

Hilarious post.

Highlights some of the bizarre non-sense that our fan base often comes up with.

Look at the game stats and look at the result Simple factual evidence that proves you completely wrong.

I know he got some stick a few months back but I work in S n C myself and I was happy with what he was saying, you can't rush the development of strength and conditioning, unfortunately it does take time. So does rehabbing genuine injuries.

Professional football in the UK is still a bit in the dark ages when it comes to this would you believe. I was actually pleasantly surprised and pleased when we got him on board.

Indeed

I rate the new guy Ben Williams, he certainly knows his stuff and is well regarded in the S n C industry, he will be highly embarrassed by this.

One of the rarest injuries in professional football.

It must be a a bad level 2 or 3 grade tear to keep him out this long and he must have been going some to do it, not something one would associate with hanging around Westfield all afternoon........

Does This Ref Get The First Ever Zero Rating From Clive .
at 12:50 7 Mar 2024

Spot on Benny.

The officials are trained and paid to do a job yet week after week, game after game they let everyone down by 'not seeing' things. They hardly attempt to work together on issues and just blatantly ignore stuff, see Smithy having his shirt pulled twice in the space of a few minutes by the same player yet nothing done about it.

I watched it on TV and saw the handball live as he did it, the way the ball moved stood out and should have raised alarm bells to the ref who was looking straight at it.

Maybe the EFL should spend a bit of the FFP fine money they get into investing in the Refs and the officials......

Blimey there's some right negativity on here....jeez.

Back to back wins, out of the bottom 3, players returning to form, played some nice stuff at times and some of the usual silly mistakes but a lot more to be positive about these days.

On Frey, he hasn't played football for months but he's come in and worked his socks off, he's a hand full and gives us something different to what we have, I like him and I'm happy he's here. I think of him as a more mobile and better Chris Martin, seems to have a decent football brain on him which we definitely need up top.

As is quite often the case the only thing decent about our performances is your match report Clive.

I'm just sat here thinking though has anybody ever asked any of our previous or current management teams WHY this happens?

What do the players actually say about it afterwards?

WHY do they think that this is acceptable in any way shape or form?

WHY do they go from looking half decent in one game to absolute effing lemons in the next?

I've never known anything like it, if yer shite then yer pretty much always shite, fine I accept that but WHY do they show they can bloody do it then deliver complete dross to follow it up?
