Was a good win against a good side but once we settled it was quite comfortable. Larin was Larin, Pity no hat-trick, Azaz is class, ran the show, MoTM for me. Leo, perhaps settled to the fact he won't be leaving (hopefully) was back to the trickery and runs that made him set-up man extrordinaire last season. Most of the midfield went generally unnoticed, job well done.

Underweststand, getting confused I think. A senior official of boro is Chairman / General Secretary or some such of the EFL but has been kept "out the loop" The EFL said he was not involved in any discussions or seen any papers!
The solicitor/M'boro player has spoken publicly denying any bias. Banerjee works for a firm that represented Boro and other teams.
So we can see; it is all totally clean and pure!! HaHaHaHa
Of course, if we had been able to take the case to CAS we might very well have won. But along with much else, the EFL ensures that their decisions can't be questioned.

Just walk from the hotel to the golf course, up the hill and you have unrestricted views over the training ground, all one property owned by M'boro owner Gibson. There are no restrictions, hedges or anything else to stop you watching the entire training facility. You'd be hard pressed to find a hedge with a view of the facility. Just do what golfers and visitors do: stand on the hill and watch! |
