Apart from the obvious - illness, last minute problems etc. - I imagine there are a fare few Daleys who buy season tickets out of pure loyalty knowing full well they will not be attending every game for varying reasons. Not saying that will account for all none-attendees but probably the majority.
Yeah, I've had membership reminder mail from Scott recently and probably met at one of the early exiles' day. Just seems to me The Trust has had it's day. As always, never say never, I may change my stance in the future.
I can't say I'm a lapsed member 'cos although I joined at it's inception, I no longer (admittedly based on info gained from this forum) see The Trust worthy of support. I suspect there's many more like me hence numbers not being published.
I received and opened my email. I even went to the voting page but, based on this thread could not make a committed choice either way so abstained. Those figures suggest others may have felt the same way.
Indeed! Even yesterday I was watching the cricket whilst listening to DalePlayer. The commentators incidentally trying to pull the wool over listeners eyes/ears. It didn't wash.
Missed the first wicket of the day as popped out of the room for a minute! Carried on watching till the partnership was almost a ton then had granddaughter for a few hours. Was pleasantly surprised to find our openers just beginning their innings when I resumed but also missed every wicket to fall.
For me the biggest plus to come out of the game is that Alty know we are not push overs for the forth coming league fixtures. Equally, our boys should be confident of at least 3 points from the 2 fixtures if not more. All this assuming Bird is fit enough to play a major part.
This Halifax fan vlog shows them having a half decent last 10 mins. It also shows we were dominant prior to their penalty. I'm convinced had Hendo been on the pitch first 45 we'd have been 3 or 4 up at half time!!
