I'd love to see us win this one after the Saints fans have been spouting off. The one saying that they think Ronnie is overrated was especially egregious.
I fear 2-1 Saints but I dream of a 3-1 Rangers. After the weekend I won't be betting against us again! |

It sounds a lot more glamorous than it was! But I did manage to convert them into showing R's games on quieter days and even had a few French punters cheering us on vs West Brom and Leeds 😂 |

@Nix same for me. When I was working in a bar in Montpellier I would spend much of the interminable Sunday evening chatting to the regulars and surreptitiously refreshing LFW. With the hour ahead I would often read it at the end of my shift! [Post edited 26 Oct 12:03]

Looking forward to the Burnley match roll call as I'm finally making my pilgrimage to LR. Been a tough few years where I haven't been able to make it there (used to be an annual thing) so I'm really excited to get a taste of the atmosphere again. |

Bang on. He's come on leaps and bounds which says a lot about his character and also JS' coaching.
Not a perfect player (as noted above) but I think you'd struggle to find two better defensive fullbacks at this level right now. They absolutely pocketed two of the league's best wingers (according to WLS) at the weekend. Swansea barely had a sniff. |

Agree with this! I think Stephan has shown that he can develop players.
I wasn't trying to be glib with my statement, I was just trying to point out that I was happily giving both Madsen and Adamson pelters before and now one is out best midfielder and one is our best right back. There's still plenty of time for Obikwu to develop, though the injury record is certainly not the best.
If Obikwu was a miss, too, then I don't think it's the end of the world. The transfer fee was punchy, but given that we have signed our entire fullback group for a total price of around 50k (Adamson), I think the odd miss is OK. But maybe I'm just feeling a bit too cheery after the weekend, idk |

I'm not sure. As someone who gets frustrated when we lose and people get very negative on here, it's also a bit premature to be giving huge props to Nourry after a victory - JS is right, we mustn't get carried away in either direction.
I'm generally positive about the direction of the club, but some things still give me pause (communication, injuries, Furlong). We can make a judgement at the end of the season. |
