It's all so tiresome. I was so pissed off after the result and then came on here to catch up with the 5 pages of updates which basically agree with everything I've said or felt tonight.
I think it was summed up with a question on the BBC post game that defined standards;
"Before the tournament started, would you have accepted England losing to Argentina in the semi final of the World Cup"?
Seriously?! Just stay away from me with that mentality.
There have been all sorts of mistakes in this World Cup and it does feel like they're getting worse, plus more in the spotlight as the tournament progresses and the outcome becomes even more highlighted.
I just find it interesting that all though we've all known about and witnessed at first hand the issues of inconsistency with regard to VAR, suddenly it's giving Argentina the World Cup on a plate, according to some?!
It's not a case of "It Stinks" against Argentina, it's a case of "Football Stinks".
Totally agree that, whilst all the biased, negative, opinions as to the result of tonight's game are what they are, this is a stupid decision that makes no sense whatsoever and will open the FA up to all sorts of further and justified criticism.
I just hope and believe that France won't even make this decision a point of discussion!
