Win eludes improved QPR as Redknapp begins impossible job — full match report
at 23:37:25

I hope the first "recruit" in January will be the forgotten man at Rangers: Luke Young.
Yes, he is as match-fit as I am and although he'll never be as flashy as Kyle Walker once was for us, Young always was reliable and unfussy.
I have faith in Redknapp's judgement about the RB position comes January.

Could Gabbidon signing mark a change in tack at Loftus Road?

I can't help to think we still need another recognised LB (forget about Borrowdale as cover for Hill) and at least 1 more wide player.

Little typo there as it is from Lille where Cabaye comes from. Lens being the arch-rival of Lille, and where Taarabt learnt his trade.

This Week — Black Wednesday, part one
at 22:46:32

Bravo Clive! Your best article I've ever read!
I'm gutted and my Hoops heart has been bleeding all day as I can't afford to renew my ST for next year...
I love football, I love my club but it does feel as if both have been cheating on me big time today!
Very sad day indeed.

Bloody hell, I can't believe that because I'm still without a job at the moment, I won't be able to renewing my ST at LR next year... I know there are much more important things in life than this but it stings badly nonetheless!

We're back in the big game but in fact nothing has changed: GP is still involved somehow in the club and everybody knows better than NW when it comes to budget and transfers...
Anyway, I don't know if I should be happy for Sousa or not... I can't believe he managed to win the Championship with his team and his boring tactics!

Late agony prolongs QPR’s 15 year wait — full match report

One thing already though: there should be a law stopping Agyemang to ever play for us again!
On the plus side I walked nicely and peacefully on the grass at LR and it's a nice view from down there.

Rams make Rangers wait after stalemate — full match report
at 03:01:45

Hello Clive!
A little over 24h after being at the game and the frustration is still there with me...
Derby came with a plan and with the blessing of the abysmal officials, they snatched the point they wanted.
I am still disappointed by the fact that if Adel doesn't have a good day at the office, nobody else ups his game to offer an alternative. Next year Adel will face players of an other calibre than Savage and that doesn't bide too well for us if we remain so reliant on him.
In Warnock I still trust but I start to question his tactics as unfortunately it wasn't the first time this season he made a substitution that probably wasn't the right one at that time. He seems to like Agy very much and I wouldn't be surprised (although disappointed) if he'd offer him an extension to remain at LR while he would better thrive in League 1!
I was very pleased with our back 4 and especially with our centre-backs who headed everything away without giving the ball a bounce. At least they've learnt from their mistakes and shortcomings earlier this season. I'm pretty sure you can guess who is my MOM (Kenny's save however brilliant isn't enough to be voted MOM and for me Derry had a solid but not dominant night. Oh well...).
Finally, to round up my rants, I'd say we just need for next year exactly the same kind of players than what we needed last year: another keeper (to cover for Kenny), at least 2 defenders who if they also could play LB or RB would be welcome and another proven striker. That ought to do it but what do I know?

Gone in 60 seconds, Taarabt stuns Tykes — full match report
at 19:42:28

York, I would hope this is more nothing than something.
I've met Matt of couple of times and he clearly gave me the impression of being a pretty introvert type of person.
It must have been a tough time for him being left out of the team for a few weeks after being a regular almost all season... I would think he was savouring quietly his moment as well as physically recouping after a hard-fought game.

A night where it all went right for rampant Rangers — full match report
at 02:28:36

I totally agree with you Clive about the empty seats... Those claiming being a QPR fan for the past 600 years will probably come up with all good excuses for not being at LR last night but omg their lives have been thrown away in the garbage bin because they can't show their Binatone shirt in May...
Anyway, the only thing missing from last night was a Tommy Smith's goal. He truly is a class-act.
I was also very impressed by Helguson's defensive work-rate.
It was really nice to hear the crowd finally singing and praising NW. It was long overdue. I appreciate his loyalty towards his ex-clubs, always applauding the opposite crowd when we played CP and last night SU.

Keeping calm and carrying on, QPR head north — full match preview
at 17:26:54

Clive, as much as I enjoy your articles and acid sense of humour, I totally fail to even feel slightly sorry for you... I mean yes, football is (relatively) important but anyone who breathes football only misses a lot in life!
I feel sorry for the people in Japan instead or those in Benghazi, Libya, with this mad man promising to show no mercy or even for blokes like me, unemployed because of this damned crisis and truly having to count every penny to afford a daily meal.
But regarding our beloved Rangers, it is indeed appalling what has happened (if found to be true) and responsibilities should be taken. This is also OUR task as supporters to let our voices heard if and when necessary.
Everyone connected to Loftus Road would be properly gutted if we miss promotion because of that but I believe in Warnock and I believe he will inject an unbreakable spirit into the team (if that's not already the case) would we have to go to Wembley to clinch promotion!
I'm going back to what's really important: sending my resume around while waiting for the next home game which is pretty much my only weekly moment where I don't despair. And no, I am not seeking any kind of sympathy or pity.
Come on U R's!

A fine end to a foul week for QPR — full match report
at 16:40:57

I have to disagree with you JB about Hall: for me he was totally passive on Palace's goal, where he could (and should) have done more to prevent this. That comes from a relative struggle to properly read the game for someone with his experience.
As for his hooked interception, however great to watch, it is in my eyes more down to sheer luck more than proper skills. Proof is that he tried another one like that a few minutes later, ending up on his backside and costing us an corner where we all prayed it wouldn't end up to be another Bristol-like equaliser...
He's always stretching (and his body obviously doesn't react too well to his style of play as he is injured for 2 weeks every 3 games), on the edge, never really commanding.
