If you watch Fulton for the entire time he's on the pitch his first instinct is to play the easy pass which 95% of the time is backwards or sideways. He never turns with the ball to see what's ahead of him but I do agree that there were several others that were equally as bad. Cullen simply isn't & never has been good enough for this level. I have no axe to grind with either player but just call it as I see it.
The fact that the Celtic head scout is on his way here does make me wonder whether a conversation has already taken place between Brendan Rodgers & the clubs hierarchy. I may be reading too much into it but it seems rather coincidental to me. Personally I'd like to see Kim Hellberg given the job but of course it's another risky appointment. That said no appointment is without risk whoever the candidate.
I'd really like to see what Eom could offer in the 10 position. Have Franco as the enforcer sitting deep with Galbraith creating the link with Eom & the wide players. Sorry but neither Fulton or Cullen should be anywhere near this ream.
I hope he decides to stay but either way I really really think we should be going for Melker's brother Casper Widell depending of course on how much it would cost us to get him. I honestly believe we will see both brothers playing in the Premier League in the near future. My only hope is that it's with us !
Leon's house is on the market for £1.35 mil and is in a quite a private little part of Upper Killay off the main road. It's absolutely stunning and I'm sure Mrs Modric would be very happy with it as one of probably several houses he has. You can literally walk from it to the training ground in Fairwood. All that being said it's probably all a load of nonsense!
I'd certainly take him back due to his ability to link the play dropping slightly deeper coupled with the fact that he can comfortably have the ball to feet and won't be as easily pushed off the ball as our current options. He's also a better header of the ball than Vipotnik and has a definite height advantage over Cullen in that sense as well. It won't happen though as we probably wouldn't be able to meet his wage demands.
