QPR’s familiar tale of woe at the Wall – Report

Not been so angry at a match in forever. Didn’t lay a glove on them - at least let them know they’re in for a game. At least Madsen, Burrell and Chair got some good minutes and much better second half (although couldn’t have been much worse!)

IMO a few things confirmed…
- JCS needs offloading- can’t play enough games and goes missing in physical games like this.
- Varane - agree take whatever offer we get.
- Madsen is a cut above any other midfielder we have and Morgan not the answer when we need to rotate.

A few things that I’m wondering though (and Ibviously our transfer budget will dictate what we can do)
- A new GK an obvious first priority but how much budget do we blow on a new #1. And then who to keep as #2?
- New LB more important than a new RB and given our two next options are young, we need experience. Maybe an Odubajo type that could do either / both?
- what to do with Morgan & Kolli? Ideally they should have been on loan this year and unlikely to want to be second / third fiddle.

Superb and very needed after Wrexham. I’d say our best performance of season bettered only by the Embrace song lyrics dropped in!
