We 8 Chelsea
at 15:25 6 May 2021

I’ve always disliked them more than any other team but I think I must be mellowing.

In the last few weeks I was pleased when they knocked City out of the FA cup because I hated the idea of City winning everything and I found myself wanting them to beat Real Madrid last night.

They also don’t have players who are quite as hateable as they used to. Very hard not to like Kante and Mason Mount is a really good young English player.

I still don’t like their ownership, their glory hunters or their neanderthals.

I quite liked Nowhere Men but I couldn't believe how little mention there was of QPR and especially Steve Gallen in the Raheem Sterling story

£5million fee agreed with Ajax for Kolbeinn Sigthorsson

The comment under this article is slightly worrying:

http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/06/07/five-facts-about-reported-swansea-targ

The strength point is backed up here:

http://www.goal.com/en/news/462/netherlands/2011/10/06/2698909/az-coach-gertjan-

A couple of Dutch Liverpool fans arguing about him:

But the fact that we have targeted for a while does suggest with done some proper scouting.

Thing You're Looking Forward To Most...

I find all this moaning about legroom annoying.

I've never noticed the problem.

I'm starting to think I might be a bit short.

I was 14 too. I went to the replay. I can't really remember the game. But I remember cycling down to Loftus Road after doing my paper round to buy a ticket on Sunday morning. I also remember seeing a Tottenham fan getting attacked outside Wembley after the final whistle.

I thought Adel was not at his best today. He didn't run at anyone today. His passing was a mixture of good and bad but where were the skills.

Boswinga was actually pretty good today. Indeed too many of chances went through him. We were too predictable.

The only player who was awful was Hoilett.

The problem with Durham is the format of the show which is based on whipping up fake controversy each day. He used do a European football thing on a Monday Night which got on people like Marcotti and Gerry Armstrong etc. It was actually quite intellectual especially when compared with banter with Darren Gough. He plays a character on air who is meant to wind people up to get them ringing in on premium phone lines.

I like the Saturday results programme with Ray Parlour.

The Michel Thomas CDs are brilliant. I learnt more Spanish in a few weeks than five years of French at school.

Easily our best song.

I like the Derry song too but we won't be hearing that one much next season.

With those gone it'll just be abuse. Come on Tony buy us some songs!

Plans for training ground
at 12:59 11 Jun 2012

Parking for the community pitches will have to be sorted. My son plays there on a Sunday morning for Southall Youth. One seven a side game is probably 15 cars. But to be fair most away grounds don't have enough parking.

Also the players will need giant car spaces. Have you seen Cisse's car?

Also there are too many full size pitches and not enough small pitches as the FAs new rules demand. I also think the indoor area is too small. I think the Park club's is much bigger.

Thats Joey out off the first 25 man squad then !
at 10:20 24 May 2012

I thought of a slight loophole. If we loaned him to a team in division 1 or 2 he wouldn't be able to play for them until he had missed 12 games. But as they play a lot more midweek games he could serve his Ban and then come back to us after a couple of games to sharpen him up. In 2011/12 a league 2 team who has played two rounds in the Carling cup would have 12 games. Cunning but it might not work of course.

1. If we had lost we would have been bottom. Pretty hard to persuade people to join the bottom club.

2. Interesting Fulham used two penalty takers. After Murphy scored the first Zamora took the second.

3. Warnock would never have picked that team. I guess he would have picked Derry and Macheda

4. The tiny number of Wigan fans sang for ages. It can't be much fun following them. They are sooooo down.

5. Our next league game is in February so 10 days to get some transfers in.

6.  Senegal lost so Traore could be back sooner than expected. (but probably won't)

7. I thought we should have put a player on Watson. He was always there to take the ball.

8. The team and the crowd seemed to shrink into themselves at the beginning of the second half. It felt a bit like the Chelsea game when we couldn't get the ball out of our half.

9. Barton played deeper and played well. Not sure if it is a sign of strength or weakness that Hughes didn't take the captaincy from him. I guess it was wise just to let the story die down.

10. SWP still hasn't played as well as he did in his first 45 mins for the club. He needs to be on the right. Mackie should be on the bench.

11. Goal of the day . Sessegnon

My son's team, Southall FC Youth, plays there on a Sunday. Southall have plans too:

I guess QPR's involvement would not stop more community level participation as it is a huge site. Something like the Barnet Academy site would be nice. Its called the Beehive and is stunning. I also heard the LTA were interested in the site.

NO POINTS DEDUCTION FOR QPR
QPR have been confirmed as npower Championship title-winners after the Football
Association revealed they will not face a points deduction.
The club were found guilty of two of the seven charges they faced over the
registration of Argentinian midfielder Alejandro Faurlin, but will not be docked
points.
The Hoops gave themselves an unassailable five-point lead with victory over
Watford last week but had been left sweating on their status as champions as
they awaited the FA's verdict in the case.

Announcement at 12?

Working at BBC today. Bumped into guy from Sport who said word is announcement at 12.00.

I'd be amazed if they would risk a riot with bad news.
