I've seen these for sale for other clubs.

Police are going to have a nightmare...

Championship South and North
at 13:04 19 May 2020

Of course, as you have a load of League 1 clubs there...

Which could work in our favour.

Champions go up
Second place play off with Northern team

Anyway, the idea was that it fixes some short term problems.

I think we'll send up seeing regional leagues and aPrem 1 and 2 at some stage

I sympathize but less traveling for the majority would be good for attendances, finances, the environment and potentially peopled health.

Championship South and North
at 21:11 18 May 2020

Following on from the possible merger of L2 and Conference...

The Championship would be a really competitive League and also help out a lot of smaller clubs.

South could look like...

Birmingham City
Brentford
Bristol City
Cardiff City
Charlton Athletic
Fulham
Luton Town
Millwall
Queens Park Rangers
Reading
Swansea City
West Bromwich Albion
AFC Wimbledon
Bristol Rovers
Coventry City
Gillingham
Ipswich Town
Milton Keynes Dons
Oxford United
Peterborough United
Portsmouth
Southend United
Wycombe Wanderers
Shrewsbury

Some really good, local, days out there...

@hoopsretro is his account. My mate bought one and it's very good. But it's fake and the club get no money.

Bid turned down for BOS
at 18:08 14 May 2020

Always makes me a little worried when a really low figure gets leaked. So when he goes for £6m the club can argue it was a good deal and we've made a huge profit on what we paid.

He's not signing a new contract though, clearly.

Anything less than £7.5m would be poor business imo.

The only disease we've eradicated in a long time is small pox apparently. So those waiting for a cure might be sitting on their back sides for a very long time.

I completely agree that the media have been absolute scumbags in the way they have presented this to the general population and they've spread a message of fear. One of the worst people for this is Piers Morgan.

For most, this is no worst than flu.

Let's crack on with life... With lifestyle changes... Healthy eating, fitness and protecting those most at risk.

Catching it... Maybe..... Dying...... Very unlikely.

Professional athletes do not fit the vulnerable category.

But the only way of catching it is to go back to normal for the majority and protect the vulnerable. It's what Sweden and others have decided to do. It's all about controlling the spread of infection, being able to manage the sick population that need care. Which is why the <1 R number is important.....nothing to do with the virus itself, more to do with managing the outcome.

Fit and healthy, professional footballers, are very very low risk.

I think the press list sight of the fact that most people have very mild symptoms. The virus isn't a killer for the majority people.

We can't hide away for 12/18 months.

Sorry, hijacked this thread a little bit.... Back to football 😁

It's very low risk....

Agree with this. I read that one Professor estimates the amount of people to have had the virus in the UK already is millions, but very few have been tested.

In my opinion, the only way to move on is for herd immunity because we simply can't afford not to work and for kids not to go to school for many reasons. The amount of new cancer cases has dropped alarmingly low as people can't go to the doctor as normal to get things checked out.

This virus isn't lethal to the overwhelming majority, which is why supermarkets are still open, postman still working, people working in warehouses, etc.

All those refusing to go back to work will no doubt be the ones refusing to pay the huge tax increases we'll see over the next 20 years.

Protect the vulnerable, don't overwhelm the NHS but life must go on.

Isn't it funny that it is a Brighton player or players. After all Brighton did not want a restart of the season did they 🙄

B Teams

I hate the idea. Makes any League a mockery with a B team in it who can't get promoted.
