Alas, no. My kids have thought it through. |

I'm looking to book a couple of nights in london in November, as part of a present for a significant birthday for my wife. My kids have got us tickets for a show in the West end, and I'm trying to find somewhere affordable and characterful, rather then our usual travelodge.. So I'll put it to the wisdom of the board - has anyone got any suggestions? Thanks in advance. |

That's all fine, but what if C C M end up being bigger then us...? |

Ah, Kelly's Pot-tato, beef cheek flavour. 'Just add hot water up to the line, give it a quick stir, and imigh leat!' |

I think it's fair to imagine that it affected the two current city players, albeit I'm not overly impressed with either of them. They potentially face relegation and are going to get dogs abuse from football supporters around the land. |

Unpopular opinion maybe, but tbh i couldn't really give a toss about what Man City have done. As other posters have said, ffp is there to stop new clubs competing on a level playing field with the cartel. If it hadn't been city hoovering up players and trophys, it'd been one of the old elite- Liverpool, man u etc. It wouldn't have been us, Watford or stoke. My hope is that they aren't relegated to the championship - they'll just cut a swathe through it next season, smashing teams all over the show and taking up a promotion place. Their player shopping this year suggests to me that they know what's coming - massive fine and transfer embargo. [Post edited 26 Sep 18:05]

Thinking hard on this one, Brian. If there was wholesale cheating, surely someone would have written a book by now. Maybe it was a bit more insidious then that, like where the referee trained in the week before the fa Cup final. But let's face it, we're the team who got drugged by our own fecking manager...... |

An age thing, or a carlsberg thing? Maybe we need a poll, if you are going to be drenched in beer, which beer would it be? Locally I drink Kaneens Keeshal, a lovely pint of golden, but it doesn't mean I want to tell the wife I had a golden shower while I was out, and that's why I'm a bit sticky and stinky. |

I don't think it's a red, but I don't think you win an appeal, there's enough in that challenge that falls into the grey area of subjectivity. I was watching the Preston stream, their rather biased commentators were pretty certain we should have had a penalty when their player handled Saito's cut back. The ref did seem to be guessing at times. |

Kamara's performance epitomised that. A mate, not QPR, came round and watched it. He reckoned our MOTM was our manager, and there's value in that. |

Yeah, he did really well then, did all he could and created indecision in their player [Post edited 19 Sep 22:50]

Yeah, I hear you. If I'm going to be totally honest, my overriding feelings are envy tinged with despair. But then again, I don't really want any part of the premiership either. |

They've spent over £50m on players since getting promoted, and they're not all that. They're not particularly well run, just well financed. |

At different times we've asked for honesty and for the club to set high standards for those on the pitch. We seemed to get the former and the club seems to have set the latter. Good. You can't make exceptions. As for Kone, I've heard a bit about his attitude from a friend who has a contact within the Wycombe set up, and it was all really positive. |

I've always thought we should celebrate Jimmy Dunne by singing his name to the chorus of 'Billy Hunt' by the Jam. Ends with a thoroughly enjoyable 'Jimmy Du-huh-hun'. |
