I saw Jimmy Dunne go over to Walsh and tell him to sit down and manage his 'cramp' around 90 mins. So they maybe knew what to do, but couldn't manage it. Bit sneaky of Wrexham to shoot so hard, and on target! Why couldn't they be more sporting like we were? |

I thought One battle after another was a really good film. Of the other Oscar nominations, I've only seen Hamnet...nah, over - hyped for me. Mrs Hants is still complaining about it! |

With Bennie and Adamson on the fringes of the first team, and I'm hoping they do well with us, I was wondering about previous Antipodean players we've had, and who succeeded here. I liked Massimo Luongo but of any others, I can only recall Nick Ward and Ned Zelic, who both disappointed after a big build-up. |

Still not got my 4 tickets. I phoned the quoted number, waited 10 mins for an answer, only to be told to send an email. - which I did...but no response yet. Oh well, still a couple of days to go!?

Football TV commentators (not our blessed Sinton & co) talking about players', managers' and owners' background issues during the game, rather than properly describing the action and letting me know who's got the ball etc. I can't always easily recognise individual players of teams other than ours, especially when there's big squad rotation and 5 subs. Also, pundits not adding any value with their contributions.
Also, when watching live action on TV, I want to watch the football and I don't want to spend a minute or so looking at the reactions of the managers to nothing in particular. |

Got tickets for 4 of us, but a bit concerned about transport now as M27 is closed from 24 Dec and already warnings of delays caused by big diversions to A27 around Fareham area. We'll be going cross-country I guess as it doesn't look like there's any trains from Eastleigh either? |

What a brilliant report - I love the 'quiet and routine' low key intro leading to the morgasmic scenes at the finale of a memorable match. Some fabulous lines that I'll try and remember and use myself - maybe not the Gwyneth Paltrow one though!? 
Sadly, I couldn't go for various reasons but managed to see all goals 'live' on my phone. I was in the company of Saints supporters who were celebrating their narrow win over WBA, and at 1-1 they exacerbated my dismay by gleefully counselling me with their observation that we were now below Saints in the league. A few minutes later, the entourage wondered what was going on as I leapt to my feet, punching the air and shouting YES!!! youRRS!! Being a QPR fan who has had to learn to be humble, I was magnanimous in victory...(not) . Clive, your report helped me feel as though I had been there in SAR with fellow fans, all going bonkers. Thank you |

I took French at GCE A level at school, I passed O level well at 14, and for a while was almost obsessed with the language, especially when trying to master the subjunctive! One of the best spin-off benefits was that it helped me understand my own English language so much better.
Mrs Hants enjoys Duolingo ( stoppit!) for improving her French and I've had a little go in Spanish - seems a fun way to learn? [Post edited 26 Nov 2025 17:39]
