I’m not a season ticket holder, just a club member, so I sometimes choose different places for different games, but I do enjoy a visit to PU. It is good fun when the team’s on fire and the stands are rocking. Football songs are a boyhood habit I’ve never grown out of and if it’s helping to drive the team on then it’s all for the good. I’ve always liked Paul Smyth. He’s been a great part of our club and a smashing lad with it. When he belted in the equaliser Saturday another chant came into my head which would have told it the way it was “Paul Smyth when we’re 2-1 down, Paul Smyth when we’re 2-1 down!” |

I went to that today and tend to agree with you Snipper that Stones could have won that within normal time. There was just a little lack of quality à the crucial moments in front of goal. Shame,but that’s football sometimes. Nice to see a good turnout for Wealdstone today. |

Sorry dmm, I posted a blank box! Anyway, I meant to say Lee Cook can be seen in SAR sometimes and of course Kev Gallen is true to the cause, with Birch in the mix sometimes as well . Good QPR boys at heart and maybe why so many Rangers fans would say that era with them guys in the team would be one of their favourite times of supporting the club. [Post edited 2 Jan 22:59]

I’ve been to watch a couple of the cup games and was pleasantly surprised to see that result of Stockport beating Cardiff. I didn’t feel it was loosing to Burnley that was where the damage was done, but more drawing with Cardiff when we were 2-0 up , cruising along and then gave them 2 penalties. The cup final dream on a warm May evening in the Bush lives on a while longer! |

At a fans forum not so long ago, I distinctly remember Amit saying there was absolutely NO argument for targeting relegation as your aim for the season. So with that said, I assume the board do care that we stay in the Championship. |
