I rated THB not just for his defensive work, which I thought was better than most on here apparently, but also for his ability to play accurate long ball passes. However, our new centre back appears to be able to do the same, albeit with his left foot. Need to sign another CB though definitely. |

Won't comment further on the dreadful performance from Stephens and Peretz in particular except to say it was totally unacceptable.
However did anyone else wonder what the referee was doing when he booked Scienza and not the west ham player after he had been fouled twice by the latter, the second time when he was on the ground. Unbelievable bias. |

You are correct cliveganderson but when have the authorities ever been fair to our club and its supporters. On the other hand they reserve excessive leniency for the likes of Leeds and Chelsea, both of whom committed far more egregious deeds that gave them far more advantage. Football's authorities are rotten to the core. Given Tonda admitted the charges wby has it taken until 2 weeks before the start of the season to proceed. Whole thing stinks. |
