SaintPaulVW - I hear your point and agree, but let's not forget it's a long season and with the January transfer window to come. This time last year we were struggling with no consistent goalscorer and a big issue in the keeper position, yet in January we signed Larin and Peretz. Stewart didn't want to be here and when that happens there's little a club can do in that situation, especially if a player (might of) used Spygate as leverage for a move as well.
We for sure though need strengthening up top come January. |

It was the classic; team chasing an equaliser gets caught. Good result for Saints, but closer than the score suggests.
On a side note from the football, the club need to look at how they market, identify what is Family Stand blocks in The Chapel. I now sit in Block 20 now. Why, because I enjoy being next to the away fans, be it under the East Stand at the old Dell or Itchen North at St Marys, but with the stadium reconfiguration moving the away end to the Chapel / Kingsland South corner, there are far too many young fans in the (literal) firing line. The Bristol City fans started losing their heads when the game started getting away from them, and several bottles were throw. One flew past me into a young fan. That's not great. There are too many families buy tickets in those blocks near the away end, there are pl8of free seats nearer the centre blocks behind the goal. |

The atmosphere in Block 20 and 21 was really good, again. It would be good if we could hear the Northam sing, but what with us and the away fans singing, we rarely hear anything from the Northam Wall down there.
I'd encourage more to come down, it's good fun in The Chapel 20 & 21. |

Brilliant performance from Saints. Millwall are a dangerous side, but from the equaliser onwards we were excellent. We blow them away in the 2nd half. JWP came on when needed and did exactly want we bought him to do, see out the game with calm assurance and experience in midfield.
Larin was excellent, as was Azas, Scienza, Bree and others.
Our season starts now.

Personally moving seats should not be something that stops people attending. You either want to watch Saints play or not. The same as not being able to sit next to the same group of friends, it's a cup game, get over it and support your club.
The issue for me is price. £22.50 is taking the piss. They should have gone for £15 and under 18s £5 or £10, and filled the stadium. |

Nice looking kit.
My only complain is with a lot of kits these days, where sponsors logo is plastic. After several washes, the logos deteriorate. Some clubs print the sponsors logos into the material of the shirt, which looks far better and never falls off ! |

A small price increase always felt likely to me. Anyone expecting prices to be frozen, reduced, or for every season‑ticket holder to get a free shirt was living in cloud‑cuckoo‑land. Unsurprisingly, the so‑called “bonuses” are just vouchers or discounts that still require spending more money with the club.Whatever. I’ll be renewing. I’m there for the football and to support my club through thick and thin. |

For me, what matters is what the players think of it all. Can they, do they want to work with Tonda or have they lost trust in him. If they back the manager, it might convince a majority, such as the likes of Scienza, who's in his first season with us, to stick with it, believing we can go on another big run for the automatics again.
Fan's are split on it. I'm in the camp that if Tonda made a genuine mistake and is gracious enough to address this with the fans directly, in a video to us, I'm the type of person who thinks we should give people second chances. |
