The Carabao EFL Cup winners get a place in the Europa Conference league thingy.
The EFL Cup can only be entered by teams in the EFL.
Sorry, doesn't help the National League and below but would make the EFL Cup quite a thing for a lot of teams. |

Even if Walsh isn't ready he can't be worse. Yeah, Begovic made a couple of saves tonight but there were just as many errors, just as much poor kicking and 2 points he waved goodbye at. |

Did we lose just because of him, no. Did he contribute to a dreadful match, yes and much more than he should have done.
Knew he was going to be had when he started the match being one-sided when he pulled Jimmy back 5 yards for his first 2 throw-ins then the first throw they got on the other side of the pitch he allows them to gain 20 yards or more.
Pranced around the middle of the pitch as not fit enough to get around. Let Bannan ref the second half. How he let their 5 have 2 arms around Armstrong every time the ball headed in his direction I'll never know.
Should be put out to grass if not put down and sent to the glue factory. Clueless donkey. |

There's an article in the Times today discussing Everton's challenges with more points deductions possible next week. Currently £330M in debt and someone needs to put in £30M every month to keep them going!
I struggle to understand why there are not more grown-ups in the room to stop teams getting in this depth of trouble. |

Shaw, when not injured is the starter. For me, Mitchell at Palace and Toffolo at Forest should be the backups. Chilwell isn’t the answer. |
