Does it not speak volumes that when the ref gave that ridiculous penalty, there was barely a squeak of protest from our players? Some bemusement from Tylon Smith but that was about it. Where were the players crowding the ref? Where were the leadership, smarts and game play? Just a lot of instant resignation. A culture of battling, self-belief and assertive communication needs to be built for next season, and that needs to come from the top.

Could go something like:
