As you know Clive, I don’t comment too much on here but always read with great interest. I feel so strongly about your paragraph on life right now and wanted to thank you for summarising perfectly just how I’m feeling as well right now. Society is a crap heap and the incident in Greenford has tipped me over the edge. It’s so refreshing to read your views, even though this is a football message board.
Let’s hope Rangers can distract us all from this sorry world or add more doom and gloom to our lives?! |

Unbelievable assessment as always sir - I saw this pretty much the same from my seat in G!
What I will pick up on though, if I may, are throw away comments like this be banded about all to frequently on here and other social media platforms - "... and key players like Austin and Johansen just don’t seem with it at the moment." Yes, we had high expectations for both players after their impressive load stint last season, but Jojo aside, what are we expecting from Austin? Really? The guy is playing (on average) half the games he did last season; either starting, and coming off after 65 minutes, or coming off the bench with 20 left to play and expected to score an equaliser/winner?! Players NEED game time and as a result will gain match sharpness and in the case of strikers require chances. Austin needs to play more minutes to get those chances and sharpness and we as a team need to play to his strengths, which is crossing the ball into the box! If we continue to use him (and others) as squad rotation players (which I fully understand the thinking behind) we cannot expect miracles! |
