Didn’t agree with that exit strategy last year & still don’t now. Terrible idea & completely supporter unfriendly, not a good experience. At the same time you’ve got Millwall v West Ham going on sharing a stand separated only by about 3 seats & here we are acting like its Boca Juniors v River Plate. Completely disproportionate. |

It's definitely something for the club to look at. One of the dangers of free season tickets, how do you actually get them to attend more often. I think they said at the forum there were around 800 season ticket holders missing from the Crawley game. There were loads of empty seats in Pearl St, just out of my group & the row in front were 5 season ticket holders who couldn't make it for one reason or another.
Don't get me wrong it's been a success so far with a really good increase in home support, probably the best run of home crowds in my lifetime, but it could be even better if we can get the extra 800 or so to attend more regularly. |

3 clean sheets in the last 4 games now. Hopefully in a few weeks we can put the first 3 games in isolation as a very tough bedding in period. |

Ramming is absolutely fine as a goalkeeper & he will have learned a lesson after Flint gave him a good talking to. He made a great save in the 1st half & caught everything in the 2nd.
Makes me laugh still that not getting players aimlessly sent off or booked means we were “soft” We just dominated the ball enough under McNulty that we didn’t need to make stupid challenges. Give me that rather than the daft sendings off we’ve had so far this season. [Post edited 19 Sep 22:59]

Regardless of what happens with Watson we should go with whoever is identified as the best candidate, not this cliched “experience” just for the sake of it. The most experienced person right now is probably Ian Henderson, he’s seen the best of Hill, BBM, McNulty & would be best placed to identify what’s currently missing rather than appointing someone “experienced” journeyman that will take time to work things out, sign a load more players & send us down. |

He said in one of the interviews that he'd been playing through pain & had an injection last week to try & play through it but couldn't finish the training session on Friday so he missed out. |

Would love us to play some European friendlies. Think we should link up with Atalanta, they play in blue & black & were founded in 1907. A summer trip to Bergamo would be lovely.

Absolutely agree with this, we're onto a good thing in Pearl St & now let's maximise it. Definitely needs rail seating in there, the seats are a mess.
Just make sure we have a segregation plan in place for the Willbutts should the need arise. We definitely need more home seats for big occasions, we sold out 4,200 seats in 3 hours for the Scunthorpe game & despite it being the cheapest option it took 3 days to shift the remaining 300 places in The Sandy & it's always the last to fill up! |

Yeah it's not been a great process. You shouldn't have to mess about with pdf editors just to send friends their tickets in this day & age.
Fanbase seem to be picking up new clubs daily. It's clear they identified a gap in the market & have done superbly at solving a lot of fans frustrations with ticketing. If they can solve the issues that Scunthorpe & others have had with allowing clubs to sort away tickets out they will clean up. |

I think that was a culmination of centenary year celebrations & the fact it was our first time visiting. Almost 18 years ago so there's a new generation now but many will have had the chance to visit for the Tottenham game. Looking at the website sales seem to be slow, think we'll struggle to reach 10,000 now to be honest. But at least we are all in one section which will be good.
Many of the National league finals total attendances are around 15,000-20,000, including when clubs like Wrexham, Tranmere & Grimsby were in them. Yes the Oldham & Southend attendance police will be on at us but last years final was a real anomaly at this level. |

Block 113 is now available. If all seats in blocks 102-112 were made available I reckon that's possibly 7-8k sold. |

Think 104 has sold out. In fact assuming we had 102-112 there’s only about 500 tickets left from what they’ve initially put on there. Guessing they’ll add more rows further back, can’t see us shifting 14,000 that quickly!
You can see what’s left by choosing “area” then “block” but it’s not the best platform. |

Let’s hope for a successful week & it being the start of a new era for us, we seem to have missed out on the recent crowd boom as it coincided with us getting relegated but last Saturday, despite the outcome really seems to have captured the attention of the town. |

We've come a long way since the dawn of online sales but no ticketing provider seems to have cracked handling sales to away fans yet. Given that ourselves & Scunthorpe both use Fanbase you'd have thought it relatively simple to share our seating plan with them & then put it on priority to their fans as we did with ours.
I'd guess it's as simple as ours were on general sale at 6 per person & system doesn't allow a seperate limit on the away tickets.
Scunthorpe could have insisted they handled the sales themselves as Carlisle & York did, perhaps they just don't have the staff to handle it at short notice so they were happy to allow us to do it. Either way, not great & something that clubs & ticketing providers need to work on.
On another note, impressive demand for home tickets, despite last Saturday's outcome it does seem to have captured peoples attention. We really must capitalise on this now & qualify, then follow it up by winning at Wembley. We will never increase our fanbase significantly if we can never get over the line in crunch games. |
