Light at the end of the tunnel, or a train coming towards us? – Analysis

Great article but sometimes the reality is that a team is just not good enough as a unit and this has come to pass for QPR in the last 15 months. No amount of better defending is going to make a difference if you can't score goals and this team has lacked goals for a long time now.

Second half slump incurs Warbs’ wrath — Report
at 20:42:15

Great report Clive. I agree thought Colwill was Cardiff's best player and superb free kick, I just knew he was going to score.
We have looked out of sorts since Chair's return from AFCON. Our transition going forward has slowed up and it was not that fast to start with. To progress in this division we need to find these pacy breakers from midfield who can tear the guts out of the defence, a bit like the no.39 from Cardiff.

Bristol/Birmingham — Awaydays

Nice bit of REO Speedwagon reference from their song "Can't fight this feeling" with your penultimate line "You're a candle in the window on a cold dark winter's night".

Profligate QPR punished by Sarr's sickener - Report
at 05:10:30

This match is why I love the Championship over the Premier League, I know it sounds daft but it is proper, in my opinion competitive football. Yes we want to get to the Premier League and secure the riches available, but when you look at the two teams on Saturday populated by a majority of British players, rather than the so called elite who are lucky to have a couple of home grown players in the first team, it sort of takes you back to how much more competitive it was back in the late 70s and 80s when I first started going to QPR, whether it was the old 2nd or 1st division. Yes it is the "hope that kills you" but has that not always been the case and that's why we support QPR, rather than the over bloated entitled elite clubs. The football at Rangers is better this season, and we have some great young talent, but the inconsistency is maybe just part of our DNA. Anyway good report of the game.
