Kids kits have Mr Q as the sponsor
My lad prefers this as he wants what the players wear
He is 11 and still in kids kits so don’t think this is cos he’s snuck into adult sizing |

So the kits arrived yesterday
Black away kit has been on him since it turned up bar when he’s at school.
Black away kit is decent and well worth it
Home kit also turned up and all was good except they printed the number on the shorts on the back so they’re no good really well they’ll be alright for kicking about the house. Seller has offered a refund so essentially a free home shirt so all in all not bad

You just have to have a look e.g reviews etc
Ive bought my lad England stuff and got him a Rangers one last year, usually buy at the shop first game of the season but was out of work so went down the DH gate route

I like Kolli and think his performances / stats show he is more than useful at Championship level but he is a strange player at times
Sheff Wednesday at home last season was a case in point
Came on for an injured Burrell after 20 mins
And did nothing for 40/50 mins and I mean nothing.
Had two chances after that and scored both
I’d like to think he could find a way back as we all love a kid to come through but there’s so much noise around his dad etc that maybe a move maybe the best thing
Would be a shame |

I think the original deal was knocked back as they wanted him on loan with an option to buy if they got promoted (which didn’t happen)
I don’t think we would refuse a sale if someone gave us what we wanted but I think the offers made so far aren’t where we want them to be |

Said he’s a little sideways and a little backwards but rarely gives the ball away. A player you watch where you often don’t notice him but when he doesn’t play you find yourselves saying you missed him. Reckons he liked him a lot

The players have always been fantastic with my lad
Pictures chats etc. His mate who is West Ham came along and was so excited to have pic with proper footballers
Except Leon Balogun he was a d!ck
Earlier in the season we played Sheff Wednesday prior to that Smyth had been getting some absolute garbage online, when we were waiting for the players after the game he came out and P Block Jnr on his own said “Paul don’t worry what people say I think you’re wicked”
Now it’s a 10 year old saying that but Smyth was touched and spent 5 mins just chatting about football PS5 etc

Pretty lucky with mine in all honesty
Mother in Law , great lady. She had retired a few months before we had our eldest. Was over most days helping the Mrs and when my other half went back to work she took our daughter to
Play groups, days out and had her for 3 days a week. Mrs had our youngest 18 months later and again helped out hugely.
Father In Law great guy, bit of a worrier from time to time but loves his sports especially Golf and Rugby.
Our two are their only Grandchildren and it’s likely to stay that way and they honestly absolutely dote on them. Will happily have them for a sleepover come and watch them in school stuff, football matches etc and honestly are just so proud of them
Our youngest got signed to Southend United’s Academy back in August and I’m pretty sure his Grandad told everyone at the Golf Club and possibly everyone in a 50 mile radius
A few weeks ago he came to watch and a guy he knows had his Grandson playing on the other side, he said to PBlock Junior “He’ll be unbearable if his Grandsons team win it’ll be a nightmare “
PBlock juniors team won 9-3 and he got a hat trick my Father In Laws face we he slammed in his 3rd was an absolute picture

I only have a very limited experience of the Sensory room my lad found it on
maybe his 2nd visit about 3 years ago
There were activities and I think a games console of some sort. It’s based under the stairs from the lower loft to the upper loft
My eldest who has autism may have found it useful if she went but she has zero interest in football and has never been.
My boy doesn’t have any SEN requirements so when he’s been probably 10 times or so we’ve never used it. He did cry when we scored as the noise was too loud but 30 seconds later he was fine and absolutely loves going.
If you’re daughter has additional needs it might be worth investigating but if she doesn’t I’d perhaps not bother as it doesn’t have a view of the pitch so means you are essentially watching it on the TV in there
You don’t say how old your daughter is?
I think when taking your kid to their first game I’d say to anyone plan it
Personally I’d leave it a couple of months until the weather is a bit better sitting in a freezing stadium for the first time might not have them rushing back.
The fan zone on South Africa road is good for kids they have a few activities and often youth players, injured / suspended 1st trainers go over for a chat and photo.
Take plenty of snacks and stuff to keep them entertained as sitting for 90 minutes is a long time for a lot of kids
If you’re worried about the noise some ear defenders might be worth a shout

Obviously it would have been big (albeit with help from the petrol companies opening garages up etc)but it was the one option open to allow cars to be available to the masses
My point is that EVs have been around for a while now and the appetite to move people over to it with the correct infrastructure is limited
EVs aren’t the answer if you want to move people away from petrol in my opinion
If you disagree then fair enough but I’d been interested to know why |

In my opinion EV’s are the equivalent of the Mini Disc meant to be better than what exists but ultimately something will come along and make it obsolete
The cost of putting in the right infrastructure is huge if the government thought EV’s were the silver bullet they would have invested big time they’ve dabbled at best

Just had an email from the club about a charity / fundraiser for Game 4 The Children
Sounds like a great cause with money being split between shelter and Tiger Cubs but can’t help but feel they’ve got it a bit wrong
Adults £30
Young Adults / Concessions £20
Juniors £10
Yep Ellie Goulding is doing a stint at half time and the opportunity to see Faurlin and others would be great but a Monday night (kids still at school) a week and a half before Christmas it all sounds a bit steep.
Family of 4 gonna be over £100 with travel food etc not sure it’s gonna sell well which would be a shame as sounds a worthy cause |

My Nans Saturday tea ( basically a fry up)
Sausages Bacon Egg Chips Beans as a kid (didn’t go for mushrooms tomatoes etc). Her chips were honestly the best chips I’ve ever had,made in the chip pan absolutely unreal. The waft of a silk cut coming out of the kitchen while she put it all together.
My Grandad coming back from work and giving me £1 for writing the full time results on the fixtures in the back of the paper so he could check his pools coupon
Then my Nan turning the Telly round from the front room to the dining room so me and brother could watch The A team while we all had dinner with my Mum moaning that we shouldn’t be watching the TV ( she now lets mine get away with murder, Grandparent perks I guess)
