I had a similar problem recently with my card(s) not being accepted at the final payment stage even though they were perfectly OK. When I signed in the official website on a different browser the transaction went through. That was a few months ago and the situation has not changed. I have to use Firefox, my default browser Safari works for virtually everything else but not for payment on the QPR site. |

I grew up in London (60s & 70s) and at school it was always 'dinner time' and 'dinner ladies' but on outings we always took a 'pack lunch'. Never heard of 'pack dinner'. |

I think they do. The 'British Isles' describes the geographical layout and is not based on national borders. At least, that's my understanding. |

After getting gall bladder inflammation (cholecystitis) and hepatitis A at the same time I had my gall bladder removed. (Royal Free, NHS). That was in 1999. I'm 64 now and thankfully have never had any post op problems, pain, symptoms etc at all, not once. It was agony though, leading up to the op. |

Me and Mrs PSR do weekly litter picks on the roads closest to where we live. Also includes a bit of river clearance as we have one running alongside to our house. Can't lay claim to a voodoo doll but our most interesting find was a Victorian pistol on the river bed last summer. We generally get very supportive comments and nice chats with neighbours/locals but I have had a couple of cans and bottles chucked at me by passing motorists. |
