City's smash and grab sucker punch stuns QPR - Report
at 20:40:44

Spent much of the weekend with a lifelong Bury fan. Season ticket holder with his dad regular away attender and now has a 7 yo boy who he would like to be taking - poor bloke is absolutely bereaved. We should be grateful for what we have and the comments about big clubs are spot on. Great report, we go again

Excellent as ever. The most interesting thing Neville said last night - to paraphrase- was the Old Trafford is a sh@thole and the fan experience was awful. Why wait till now to make that point Gary?

I sort of enjoyed the ref laughing at that dive though - I thought the ref was very good. And I still have a great love for GA. They had more about them than directness- they were I thought well coached.
Sort of a perfect result in that Rangers won but all parties could hold heads up. Also watching Field - who did not have probably his best game- I still think we may have done good there as well.

Ongoing home woes stall Rangers' recent progress - Report

The 4 for Niko is about right. He is being targeted now and will continue to be. Three at the back helps cover for that. There is a reluctance to give him a hard time on the board I think from a sporting desire to give him a chance and games to improve. It is a delicate balance - yes judge him after 100 games but he has to be good enough to get those games and be taken out when obviously in trouble. I really hope a LB comes in this month to allow them to do that.

Very well written in difficult circumstances. Depressing and accurate but very well put. Thanks.

I am from diversity world leader Shepherds Bush and proud of it. I grew up with Irish parents, in London best mate West Indies parents, friends with DNA from all over the world. It was magic. But even on here sometimes I could weep. The part of the human heart that wants to make someone else 'the other' because of their skin, sexuality and increasingly politics is just a bag of sht.

Excellent in many ways (and sad) but well done for defending Dave Mc and local journalism. It amazes me the flak he gets and I now think it is simply that people are jealous of the fact he has good sources.

lost in the mists of the last 2 minutes but Sylla not as effective when he starts rather than coming on later and causing chaos.

I support Olly but he is a worry - he does not look in great shape and I hope we get the rub of the green in the next few weeks to ease the pressure on him.

QPR come up short despite late rally - Report
at 11:02:38

Added to the early points you make about trying to discern form is the fact we seem better (as we did on Friday) against teams who are comfortable in possession- who we can press and harry-than we are against more direct outfits (who leave us with the ball) who make up a fair proportion of this league. Finding a way for this squad to perform in those circumstances will i think be key to how this season goes.

Will Big Mick have the last laugh? – Opposition Profile

Love those McCarthy quotes. I actually met him and his family in a non football environment many years ago and they were all lovely decent people. Makes you wonder how has he stayed in football so long as although he finds himself being compared to Warnock and Redknapp they are very different in the 'removing pants from naive owners' stakes.

Great article there in a number of ways and I actually found the liitle clincher about Anna and her kids quite moving! We have to say the media side at QPR has been very good (in that they try) and it is clear those guys work hard to get things right.
