More to life
at 09:47 14 Aug 2026

All my best wishes to you. My partner had a serious stroke at the age of 43. At one stage the doctors were concerned for her survival. Now, 20 years later, she is a proud grandmother of two girls and enjoying life. Keep strong. Your family, including this one here, will see you through.

World Cup Final Wembley 1966
at 09:43 16 Jul 2026

I wasn't in Wembley as dad had decided that 4 Brent Way, with the stadium looming over the back garden, was too close to the mayhem that was likely, so we went to Rimini for two weeks. Watched the final in an italian bar full of Germans! All very friendly.

Agree.

Go to the city centre, have a couple in the Blue Boar, a couple in The Globe, then head for The Salmon and stay there as long as possible.

League Cup Winners 1967 - On this day
at 11:59 6 Mar 2026

I was there aged 16 with my dad. He was given tickets by his mate who was a friend of Tony Ingham. I also got a commemorative tie with the club crest on it. My ticket, programme and tie all long lost over the years.
